Does anyone else on here like needlecrafts?

Personally, cross-stitch, needlepoint, and crochet are my favorites. I knit, too. original.gif

I do a lot of bead weaving (a lot), and make jewelry from it. I'm taking a break from it this weekend though, I stabbed my right thumb so many times last week that I'm feelin' a little abused. LOL

I also used to do a lot of cross stitch and embroidery, but I haven't done any lately. I'm thinking of taking up some textile/bead work... pillow covers and stuff.

My favorite is what's called Freeform Peyote. I make bracelets from it mostly.

I enjoy beading and crochet (granny squares).

I crochet, do cross stitch, design and make medieval style tapestries with a fantasy flair (fairies, unicorns, dragons and the like), do needlepoint. I also do bead weaving on a bead loom. I could never get the hang of peyote or those other off-loom types.

i have about 3 cross-stitches running at the same time.. i get bored with one and go to another. one of these days ill finish it.
i also like beading. have made heaps of different bracelets, necklaces, earrings etc.

Hello

I really enjoy doing needlepoint crafts like longstitch and crosstitch. I also enjoy knitting!

The top and bottom bracelets aren't completed yet. The bottom piece will have sculptural flowers and leaves that run the whole length, the top one, I haven't decided yet.

The bottom piece is flat peyote stitch, with freeform peyote, and picot stitches.

The top piece is a little known stitch called Ndebele worked primarily in Africa. It's gaining popularity in other places now.

The black and silver are "beaded beads" there will be 16 of them strung to make a 3 strand bracelet original.gif

The other two are just simple bracelets strung with sea opal glass (pink) and semi precious stones and swarovski crystal.

Enjoy Owls!
