Now, my question is 'What caused the expansion?' The idea I get from your words, 'a big woosh,' is that when the total universe started expansion, everything else started expanding also. Look at Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. They are ringed planets; something caused those planets to expand in the same way our moon was formed. In my mind is a picture sequence. A split-second flash of light and then a split-second withdrawal of that light to expose the darkness.
