I have read stories that the Amish have adopted many things to make their life easier, and will only accept technology after considering it's effects on the community lifestyle....They don't live in seclusion from the rest of the world, their farms are such as modern farms and there is much interaction between the Amish and the English community.....Many of their children, when grown, have left their families to pursue schooling in other State universities....The Amish are very interesting people...Thanks for the read....

Cute page, but I believe it's a joke. At the very bottom of the page there's a link to other hoax and satire pages. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't imagine Weird Al's "Amish Paradise" being a number 1 song for that Amish community.

Oh man, that name just made me laugh out loud!

Oh those poor mennonite girls.

That is the real downside to the hippie chicks aswell. Alot of them are cute girls. But oh that hair.

But there'a actually an amish community around the area that I work. Other than their horses crapping all over the road, and letting their kids walk barefoot along the road to the school house in busy traffic, they're OK I suppose.
