As some of you may remember in my last thread; I told you that mathematics played a key role in deciphering biblical prophecy. Some of you had a little trouble understanding a simple math equation. Let me simplify even further: this will only be simple addition in the same chapter. In Revelation chapter 11, the prophet discusses two witnesses. Actually the whole chapter is a fourfold prophecy. I will tell you of the most simple of the four. The two witnesses referred to are actually two planets. More specifically Mercury and Venus in transit. These are two of the rarest of the recurring Universal signs of phenomenon in the universe.(From Earth perspective) if you're not familiar with the transits you can search them out online. Quote verse three: and I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three score days clothed in sackcloth. That equates to 1260 days. Plus the 3 1/2 days that the witnesses are to be laying dead = 1263 1/2 days. The transit of Mercury happened in 2003, the transit of Venus happened on June 8, 2004. 1263 1/2 days later = December 25, 2007. Quote verse 10 and they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them and make merry and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.(MERRY CHRISTMAS) Verse four is verification that this is what God is speaking: these are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of earth. The reference verse for the olive trees is Psalms 52:8. The psalmist David speaks of a man of mischief and the lies. He also refers to himself as a green fir tree. The green fir tree refers to earth. The God of the earth is the sun, for all you Jesus fans; that would be your Sunday. For behold the son of God says my kingdom is not of this world. The two candlesticks are the two planets which appear as dark spots(clothed in sackcloth) in the suns disk. The reference to the green fir tree also appears in chapter 9 of Revelation. I am painting you a picture of the opening of the bottomless pit smoke and locust which have the power as the scorpions of the earth have power. The Bible is one long prophecy from beginning to end. To get the true meaning you must understand all. This is just a piece of the puzzle that is complete enough for you to see; to get your attention. Here you this day with the spirit is saying. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and 2007. It will be the last.

Interesting. Well, I suppose just like all 35272592576597263578625876258762875682752525 previous predictions for the date of the apocalypse, all we can do is wait and see. And if we have no control over the matter anyway, then why even bother knowing? May as well just enjoy our lives and worry about it when...IF...it comes.

I haven't done the math, but I believe you nonetheless. You read in the bible, 'Unless those days be shortened, no man will be saved alive.' So, when do you think that happened? December 25, 2007. I beleive you. So,all of us who are alive now ar saved and will pass through into the Age of Aquarius. Keep your seatbelts fastened.

Okay I have to ask AGAIN if it specifically states in the bible that no one can know when Jesus is supposed to return, how come you and other doomsdayers think they know????

May I ask where your getting this information and can you prove it or are you just predicting the future like others in the past thousands of years? It's the beginning.

You know, by the process of elimination we know for certain that God cannot return this year. Jesus said that no man will know the day or hour of his return, that no one on earth can possibly know because no one knows except the Father. He also warns against people in those last days saying "Look, there is the Messiah", because that will be a falsehood. By logical processes then, would that not mean that Jesus would ahve to arrive at a time when nobody predicts his coming. If it ever comes to the point that no one predicts his coming, then that is when Jesus will come, and not a minute before - logically speaking, at least.

to answer your question, the 24th chapter of Matthew answers your criticism. Versus 32 through 39. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branches yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say and do you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall it also be at the coming of the son. Before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. And knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall it be when the son of God comes. In other words, Noah listen to his heavenly father and knew when the calamity was coming. I am one with the father, through the son. Matthew 24 verse 43: but know this, that if the good man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Can the son of God make it any plainer. There will be some, he will reveal his coming to. Matthew chapter 22 versus two through nine: the Kingdom of Heaven is likened to a certain King, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again he sent forth other servants saying, tell them which are bidden, behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come into the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: and the remnant took his servants, and he treated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the King heard , he was angry: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then says he to his servants, the wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go you therefore into the highways, and as many as you shall find, bid to the marriage.

I am not predicting anything, God revealed to me all the answers first. Then guided me through the Scriptures, to fill in the questions. All I am doing is relaying his message.

If I recall correctly... your own scriptures say no one will know, and those who say they do are lieing.
