The arm grabbers (my own term)
I have seen 3 videos of this type:
1. 3 guys, one filming, two being filmed
2. 4 guys, one filming, three being filmed
3. one guy filming, one girl being filmed
In all 3 videos there is a thin pole of some kind. A person gets close to the pole for one reason or another and out of no where, quite literally, a being grabs the person’s arm. The being is of similar height but very thin and has a well proportioned head to the rest of the body unlike a grey. The skin is very white. In each video the people all freak and run in different directions. Here’s the problem….. The pole simply just is not thick enough to conceal the arm grabber; you should be able to see the whole being standing there. All you see of it is a portion of the upper body, the head, and the arm. What was found was an intense field of background radiation in the very specific area of the grabber and absolutely no where else at all. What does this mean? Some scary #%&@ is what it means! Well, I don't think theres a single person here who would deny the existance of life on other planets, but its just as likely that they're not visiting us - why the hell would they? And how would they have found us? We're a grand of sand on a beach - its as bad as the medieval belief that we were the centre of the universe - there is no reason to believe we are being visited.

How do you know there is life on 3 other planets in our own solar system? There might have been on Mars billions of years ago, and there might be on Europa now, all the other planets aren't well equiped for life. You can't go on about logic then make a claim and not back it up with anything. As for 2 planets in the habitable zone, well the other one they found it was discovered to have a runaway greenhouse effect, like Venus.
Of course, Drakes Equation is interesting to think about, but it really is unscientific. We dont know how often intelligent life appears on a planet that has life, we could be a freak accident. Personally I think if the elements of life come together life arises, but that's already quite rare. Intelligence on the other hand could very well be a freak occurence, it took billions of years to appear once, and once we're gone it might never appear again.
I think you are the egotistical one for thinking you know the answer.

The quality of individual human life was one of the greatest accomplishments in the last half of the 20th century. If we have something here our survival depends on our ability to make our own paths and live by our own fashion. It is strange how with advent of free thinking and scientific reasoning we have abandoned the faith insta belif system of our universe.This has led to miraculous advancements on our part.We humans have also made great accomplishments in recognizing our individual 'brothers and sisters' in racial aspects as well.

its the same contention i have always had about life after death things, where it shouldn't matter if there is .we have to make do with what we got. I have always wondered how much murder and equally heinous acts would be carried out if, we believed that this is all there is.The seriousness would be such i think that even more measures against murder of children for instance would be taken incredibly strong.There would be as an example or hypothetical base a stronger penalty then so many years with a chance of parole.plus, things would be taken seriously.heck, i think even media and the fiction would be altered.

The primary logical argument to this standpoint is if life is that rare, then we would be exceedingly interesting to come and visit if they found us. If we found a distant planet that showed signs of life we would be jumping out of our skins to go and visit and check it out. Some of which are in the habitable area, and some of those are solid, not gaseous. We know of 259 planets in other star systems, 2 of which are solid AND in the habitable zone.

OK here’s some really simple thinking…… 200 billion star systems in our galaxy alone, hundreds of billions of galaxies in our universe. We are the only life in the entire universe? WOW!! You are REALLY stupid aren’t you!!!! How egtistical of you!!
