Hi all,
I'm part of a group planning a paranormal convention in our local area to raise awareness as well as money for the renovations for a suspected haunted theater. Is there a room appropriate to such an announcement to see if anyone in the area is interested in going? If not that's okay, I wanted to make sure first!

The best way to promote something of this nature would be to place a link in your signature so that it appears underneath your posts or create a blog with details about the event.
Another alternative is if you have a press release for this you can forward that along to us via e-mail and it will be considered for posting on the front page.
