Anyway whevever this song is played or i start thinking about it i feel like some 1 is wathing over me or protecting me and evil is banished from the room im still relativly young and i stay home sometimes and i righten easly so i play this song and i feel safe and nothing can harm me in anyway is this the memory of my great grandma or is it something more like the song some how brings something more powerful into the area that actually protects me or as i said before is it just the song brings the memry of my great grandma and its that memory that makes me feel safe

Welcome to UM Steelersfan. I understand what you are feeling my friend and I am sorry to hear of your loss. I felt comforted by christian music when my grandmother passed away a couple years ago. The music still helps me to this day. There are parts of our brain that are stimulated and they cause us to have those warm and fuzzy feelings inside but as far as whether this is God stimulating those natural parts of our brain, I dont know for sure. According to the bible God is near those that call on His name. He is there watching over you even when you dont "feel" Him. Hope this helps a little.

It's psychological, the song reminds you of your grandmother, and that makes you think of her watching over you, or maybe she really is watching over you. I do know that certain songs or sayings can bring up emotions and make you feel a lot safer, I know some songs dealing with a few of my gods, and some of them make me feel safe whenever I listen to or sing them.
