When you go out of body, either through astral projection or remote viewing, you are invisible to all physical beings and people. Well actually not all, there are some sensible people and animals that can see astral projectors, I did some experiments and found that at least cats can see me. I never had a physical person see me though, it's like being an invisible ghost and you can fly around and go through walls and people etc. But, on the other hand, spirits can see you and you may find yourself rising up to higher spiritual planes where everyone can see eachother as all are either astral or spirits.

When you go OBE, I like to say its when you are out of body in the physical world/universe, and thus in this normal reality and everything is like it is now, though sometimes with subtle changes and some spirits here and there.

When you go astral, I like to define that as going to other astral realms, higher than the physical, and get in touch with higher astral entities and spirits.

I also tend to most often find myself transparent or invisible when I either have an OBE or Astral Projection, except in some cases of higher astral worlds that are more "dense" and "physical" like this world, and have laws that are more close to physical worlds, and you may find yourself with what seems like a physical body there and everything will seem and feel physical.

So, the governments monitors with more than cameras and binoculars, they monitor on spiritual levels too, and have probably put up some spiritual/energetic shields, just like physical fences etc, to keep people out.

Also, no need to be rude just because you don't understand something, or don't have any personal experience with it. Perhaps you should rather try it out yourself to find out if it's real or not, that's how I got started. And I'm glad I did.

Not having read the book, it seems to me there are two different topics here. OBE, which of course is "out of body", but your body is still there and visible. Sure, perhaps your spirit is invisible but not your body. Therefore, making your physical self invisible would not really be related to OBE.

There was a thread last year on UM about an invisibility suit. I'll try to track it down.

Interesting I have not heard of it although I wouldn't mind reading it. You can do amazing things with your mind as I so learned. I did have an OBE so I am familiar with that and believe you me I wouldn't have thought it would have been possible to float around the room and look at myself from every angle but I did. I'll have to research it. I wouldn't think it would be entirely impossible to make yourself invisible if quantum psychics already suggests we can walk through walls if we believed we could. Remember no matter what others think or say it is for you to seek these things out and find truth to them. Why people thought Einstein was crazy and many others that proved them wrong so I wouldn't bother with nay sayers. Whether you become invisible in reality or just in your own mind perception interests me.

i don't usually have a problem getting my head around the paranormal.... but something about this just doesn't ring true. the problem i have with this is that if u r having an OBE to make urself invisible, then presumably ur body is still kicking around somewhere visible... doesn't that kinda refutes the point of making urself invisible ? it's like saying ur friend is invisible when ur talkin to her on the phone.

the later article is more like invisibility, where u will urself invisible... ur actual body, but there doesn't seem to be a traceable and provable example of someone who has actually done it.

SPELL FOR INVISIBILITY
1 part Fern leaf, dried
1 part poppy seed
2 parts slippery elm powder
1 part Myrrh
1 part Marjoram, dried

Hi I was recently reading on the internet and came accross this becoming invisable. I thought it was a gimic. But it looks like some people are trying and it actually works. Have you had ago at the experiment as yet? If I had the book I would try it myself. Is it really OBE as that would mean you are not really invisable. I have OBE's I am willing to try this out. Ignore thoses others who are on here to joke as this was supposed to be for mysteries and these idiots polute the internet with their lack of Knowledge. Why join a sight about mysteries if you think it is all a waste of time? You never seemed to get one decent reply to what you said. Well I am eager to read more myself as it seems people do try this and people have become invisble.

For the record, invisibility technology does exist, but it's one of the most closely guarded military secrets. Mathematically speaking, invisibility is a theoretical science, to the public. But any world power needs to have technology which they can never, EVER reveal to the public, for reasons of national security.

I firmly believe that invisibility is one of these secrets.

But it has absolutely NOTHING to do with metaphysics, or psychic phenomena.

If a person could become invisible for 25 bucks, every world government would be crawling all over themselves to find the author, interrogate him, learn the secret, and then bury it away from the public's eyes.
