Yesterday in my dream, I saw in the sky a symbol lighten by the stars, but I never saw this symbol before... After some research I found it was the Ankh symbol from Egyptian civilization. Across the internet, I red a little bit about it, but I feel something weird in me for that, like if this sign was spiritual and a call that I need to answer. As anybody want to discuss? (sorry for my English I'm a french/quebecois)

Eternal life to be exact. Its a symbol with two parts ones female ones male, together they bring about eternal life.
Its usualy worn for protection.

We have this conversation on the forum from time to time, as people dream various signs or symbols, and then go looking for a meaning outside of themselves and their own experience.

It is interesting, of course, that what you dreamt has been dreamt before by somebody else, but that happens a lot. Unless you are Egyptian, though, or have some affinity or interest in Egyptian civilization, then what it meant to somebody else long ago is at best a hint about what it may mean to you.

If you have even the slightest interest in Ancient Egypt, though, then you almost surely have seen it before, and just not noticed it. It's all over modern North America, too, in jewelry, advertisements, and so forth. Things we have seen, but not really thought about, are popular dream elements.


Hey, we're spiritual beings. Everything we do, think, dream, attend to, ignore, ... is spiritual. We can't help it.

The Ankh is a very common symbol that you see often in day-to-day life. At least, it's a common symbol I often see in day-to-day life. I don't think I've been through a day at work when I haven't served a customer wearing a pendant in the shape of an Ankh. It's possible that your subconscious may have noticed the frequency of the ankh in society and translated that into a dream, which then made that knowledge available to your conscious mind.

Eights bits, in my dream there was a lot of others signs appears one after the others in the sky but I don't remember them yet. The Ankh sign appears in first and give a big vibration in me, like if it was a message from out there but my body wasn't able to keep it entirely because of the intensity of the message. In reality, I really feel that this message is talking about energy that goes through me, more and more. For the last years, I have notice some energy boost in me, Kundalini or something like that. So maybe the sign talk about rebirth, but it means more a spiritual symbol of the chakras with the vertical line (spline), and horizontal line (heart chakra) and cercle (crown chakra that receive the energy from out there).

Dreams can have more meaning than we give them credit for at times. It is true that sometimes a dream can be just a collaboration of information that you gathered throughout the day, but sometimes they can be something else. A message perhaps from spirits,( good and bad) possibly even G-d at times( you never know). If you saw a bunch of symbols you know I would definitely think that it could be a message for you. Maybe its a message telling you to educate yourself with more knowledge. Its no surprise that you don't remember all of the symbols, or all of your dream, thats the way dreams seem to work for most people. You have to decide what your dream means to you.
