I really dont know what made me think this. I was just sitting theyre thinking about mars and aliens and what not, when it popped into my mind that. Now this is just an idea, Not pushing my beleifs on people, for one im Agnostic....Not Athiest. Agnostic. What if each god,as u can see each different Culture share many aspects, but different views of gods,Had theyre own Earths? Think about it. Our God,Made Earth. THeyre god made something, etc etc. It makes sense in a way. Now,im not saying there is,but i cant say theyere isnt, but if u look at how big the Galaxy is,its not realistic for us to be alone out here. I jsut thought that, its possible each god made theyre own planet. Idk u guys discuss it.

Simple, we're the circus.

Sure why not, even most ancient texts before biblical times speak of Gods in plural, and one in specific that created the Earth (who was the Creator, made by God), and many gods governing the various planes on their way down to Earth and physical universe. Read some hermetic material etc it's interesting, and old gnostic material.

Heck go to wikipedia.org and search for "demiurge" and you'll get the idea.

The more I discover and experience spiritually, it seems to be something into this, so it is curious and interesting and something worth researching.

Thx lol i was expecting something negative,Im not sure what to say about why we have so many gods but to rely on what the other person psoted,it all goes to the same thing,if u look each of theyre gods resemble theyre surroundings, wether it be Rainforest, woods what ever, theyre god has symbols and what not all over them of theyre origin.

Its kinda odd, cause that Sylvia Brown lady said, wich i dont beleive in most of her stuff, but she said in the next 2 years the Aliens ( ET's ) will be making themselves more noticable, and poof,we get this thing on mars not even 2 months into 08,its jsut odd,and if u ask me,i have never seen a rock sprout arms and walk down a hill. And than they go back and take another pick, and its magically not there. I really beleive in ETs,theyres no way were alone, and i often wonder about therye religious beleifs lol. WHat they see as a god.

let us assume this is correct.

why so many on earth, perhaps the various other Gods were not quite as good at it as earths god, and their people ended up ruining the planet, and were about to be wiped out, so earths god said "hey guys, my planet is pretty big, and I am only using a small part of it, why don't you bring what ever is left of your people on over. maybe my people can help teach your people how to get along and live in harmony with their planet, instead of destroying it." so they took him up on th eoffer, and instead of earths people teaching the others, the others corrupted us.

I think it makes more sense if we imagine only one Creator, who assigned lower creatures to be "assistant Gods", not only to inhabitable planets, but to even different cultures.

This is actually said the in Bible, but it was largely edited out after the Hebrews became montheistic.

In the original version, the Creator assigned creatures he called his sons, one to each human tribe/culture. Interestingly, these most ancient of Gods all over the world were wise but frightening monsters we generally refer to as "dragons" today. We can even see the "dragon" in Yahweh despite the editing. He still breathes fire from his mouth and smoke from his nostrils, is described with wings, is given cattle, sheep, enemy virgins, and originally first born children of his worshippers. Oh, and the Canaanites also knew him as a dragon they called Yaw, or Yam.

Maybe this creator of the universe, becasue of its limitless size, could visit individual planets very infrenquently. Perhaps the last time was 100 million years ago when the most developed creatures were giant reptiles. Maybe he modified some with greater intelligence, and these became mankinds gods. It is curious that people all over the world believed "dragons" taught them technologies, laws, etc. This might be why.

Well no, let's not. Because there is no reason to. You cannot seriously discuss something that is an utter fabrication. The idea of a creator was born of a time when we had no other explantion. We do now. So saying, "well, if god exists then maybe he can do this and this".... no, its utterly pointless.

Its like saying to someone "if you had a friend called Brian, what job would he do?" or "what colour are his eyes?"

Its a pointless speculation because the first assumption is based on no facts whatsoever (ie, Brian doesn't exist).

Ummmm.....No.? Anyway...

Okay, I don't want to be overly critical here, and I've learned, that being critical can be mis-interpreted. What I want to know is, if you want to talk about an unexplained mystery, why not start with, o, I don't know? man? Why do you want to start a thread about "GOD" that no body has ever met, ever seen, nor is likely to? Why start a thread about some "god" who starts a planet, and you don't know how a planet comes to be, or whatever. Maybe YOU created all this, huh? Then, you were the idiot that started all this mess. Does that make you a "god"? No, that makes you a trouble maker. Let's call these "gods" what they are: trouble makers. Tell me ANY GOD THAT EVER MADE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE
