There was a report somewhere (I'll try to dig it out) that the Chilean government along with NASA or some similar classed officials whent to chile after a rash off attacks, after a few days they apparently found a nest of what they where looking for, they captured one of the breeding couple but the other ran off but not after seriously injuring or killing one of the would be capters, In the nest large eggs where found.

Then its accepted the military comandired an ENTIRE airport and kicked out all the staff. It wasn't until a single helicopter towing a secured crate took off that everyone was allowed back. Airport staff where confused as they have had the military shifting explosives, chemicals and munitions through before and only specific areas where off limits then.

Nothing more is known, except the amount of attacks dropped.

Friend was telling me about that NASA thing.

Some stories describe a maned wolf... user posted image

(is he, or is he not adorable?)

And other's that are just... it's like mutant lizard/kangaroo/dog/vampire thing.

People want to think giant vampire bat, but, those bats don't suck blood, they lap it up. Making a cut with thier tiny razor teeth, and then licking up the blood.

It's not a real normal preditory animal. Since in pretty much all cases of pred. animals, There wouldn't be much of a body left, if eaten there on the spot and not carried off...
