Most "Gods" are non-existent. Let me try and break it down.

The universe in which we live in is composed of vibrating manifested energy. Its always being created, however energy cannot be created nor destroyed... this meaning everything, even the air we breathe is one type of energy in a manifested form.

Now think this energy is very maluable, and you can control it with your mind. Its possible when you astral project, we all know it.

So, humans have manifested out of energy, from a series of events that allowed that type of creation on the physical forfront.
Humans, and their minds, and with every other living beings, are creators; artists if you will. This can also be known as "God" or a God act, who goes in form, through form, and out of form, and creates with form.

Humans, have created beliefs themselves, and fooled themselves with these fake beliefs. A sun god, a night god, a watermelon god, a pig god, a fire god, a r****** god, 12 gods.... blah blah blah.. your wondering, which ones were real?

In essence, what I am trying to say is that everything, one way or another is linked, to, everything! This universe is just a floating ball of energy, but it had to be created somewhere by something, and nobody will know what. All i know is that the planes of existence are the same as the frequencies of a radio, the color spectrum, and noise.

Having no belief is the best way to live your life and be the full potential without believing in a higher power.
