Hello Friends,
It is my first post in this forum. It seems here are a lot of interesting people:). I have read a lot of esoteric and non esoteric literature, but still can't find out where the "men of stregth" did get their power? Some say they got it from different rituals (in dark magic cults), some in extreme situations (for example gurdjieff), some from praying (in christian sects).... What do you think where did really get the "people of stregth/power" their might?

George Gurdjieff spiritual teachings, (The Fourth Way!) is purely controversial speculation. It has no basis in facts as there isn't much evidence to say his teachings worked.


He was an interesting man though.

if you look through history, most of these people ( i say people because in western thinking, no offence ment here, women are powerless is what the dogma teaches )
there are many people that have been very powerfull, most of them were kind of born into it ( or so we are lead to believe )

I don't belive that they were born with power, maybe they had some "talant" to power but definitely they got their abilities during their life. but how did they got it?

well lets be a little more specific.

example 1 - birth was prophesied with a galactic anouncment of his birth. no father, mother a virgin ( i think we all know who i am talking about )
how could this person of power not have been born with it? did not take his place till the age of 30. but any writtings on his life beforehand are impossable to find ( long since locked away, and having been born in a town that did not apper in roman documents till 50 years after his death, thats pretty amazing, but now i am getting sarcastic )

example 2 - quote from the other book " behold! there was born into the world of sense the unlettered apostle, the comely child, noble of birth, but nobler still in the grace and wisdom of human love, and human understanding; dowered with the key which opened to him the enchanted palace of nature; marked out to recieve- to receive and preach in burning words the spiritual truth and message of the most high"

example 3 - quote "One night, Queen Mayadevi dreamed that a white elephant descended from heaven and entered her womb. The white elephant entering her womb indicated that on that very night she had conceived a child who was a pure and powerful being. The elephant’s descending from heaven indicated that her child came from Tush**a heaven, the Pure Land of Buddha Maitreya. Later, when she gave birth to the child, instead of experiencing pain the queen experienced a special, pure vision in which she stood holding the branch of a tree with her right hand while the gods Brahma and Indra took the child painlessly from her side. They then proceeded to honor the infant by offering him ritual ablutions."

there have been many others that have not gained the noteriety of these three, but none the less, most of these people have been different form those around them from a very young age.

dali lama - they go looking for the next reincarnation soon after death, when the next lama is still an infant.

lets take a look at edgar cayce ( or what i understand of him, if anyone else has input on him please feel free to add to what i have to say )
average kid till he fell asleep on his books doing homework, when his father found him like this, decided to quize him on what he was supposed to be studying.
to which he answerd the questions correctly. from then he started to study via osmoses ( sleeping with his books under his pillow, amazing i think )
i am not as familiar with his earlier life ( before this incedent ) but that is when he discoverd his ability.

gurdjieff - just did a bunch of reading on him. interesting fellow. seems ( from what i have read ) that he would have been curious from a young age.

from what i have read about people like this, they are different from a very young age ( those that come to fame at least ) but there are all kinds of people running around the planet doing all kinds of work that we will never hear about, and with them we will never know.

as to what kinds of powers they have, it is the people surounding them that are amazed at what these young people do, and what they talk about that raises them to this kind of fame.
weather or not they continue? is up to them.

does anyone remember in the late 90's when the tibeten monks came looking for the second comming of the christ?
and the chinese governments involvment in taking over the search?
they both disagreed on who it was that they found ( vancouver canada ) but the search was called off by the chinese government when they found a suitable candidate.
the monks disagree on who they chose.

but this opens a whole other ball of wax.

speak for yourself - me tribe was matriarchal. Kick the hubby out and ruled. We also were the only ones to defeat, win and keep our ground from the US Army who betrayed us. Our lineage comes thru the maternal line of our tribes and clans. Take that... South American Amazon women!!!!!!!!!

Well it seems some people are simply born with their inner abilities, which I believe we all have, at a functional and conscious level. While most other people have to study and practice to become adept with the same skills.

Just like Mozart who composed his first piece at 4 or whatever it was, while most other musicians didn't even know what a note was at that age.

Apparently, it seems possible that memory can carry over from past incarnations, so those born with these "powers" may just remember how to use it from such a previous life. Maybe that was the case with Mozart too.

Personally I had to do it the "hard way" and go through years of practice, studies and experimentations, both on my own from books etc, some within so called secret orders and mystery schools, some from my father and some from various interesting people and higher astral entities I later came in contact with.

for me it has just always been.
from what i have learned, it is the human being has the ability ( all ) in different forms ( natural abilities )
and it is the degree to which it has been trained out of us that sets up blocks to relearning these abilities.
being half norwegan i have some insight into where you are comming from darkbreed.
i still have family there ( my whole fathers side ) and they are all quite intilectual ( you know my families work in norway, everybody there has interaction with my families work, lol )
so i understand with communication with my brothers ( both born and raised there, as myself have not. born in norway moved here when young )
some people resist the training or experiance it in such a way that they never have bad experiances with it, and never fully close it down ( people that seem to be natural )
but anyone can reawaken these things within.
i find it interesting that my father who has always been a devout atheist and man of science and logic his whole life ( and severe skeptic ) in his older age is becomming more curios about the whole realm.
it has been interesting to see the change in his views.
no idea why he started to be more accepting of the psycic realm, he just is these days.
