How is it possible for a christian to be anti-semitic? I mean Jesus WAS a jew!! Christianity is based on the Jewish religion! So in short if u hate jews and ur a christian then you hate yourself coz ur a jew! Really i just dont understand this concept!

Well, for a long time the Jews were explicitly blamed for the death of Jesus Christ, so somehow or another anti-semitism was justified, even though according to christian theology Jesus was SUPPOSED to die for the sins of mankind.

Hitler was a Christian and you can't get more anti-semitic than that.

i find it even more funny that there some hold anti semitism yet they still read the old testiment and use it word for word to back their beleifs.

I'm a christian, and it never occured to me to hate Jews. It isn't in the Bible to hate them, so am I missing a memo somewhere?

Based?? The bible( Old Testament) IS the Torah in english(basically, but poorly translated). I was raised Christian(till i reached the age of reason) Baptists(what i used to be) have a closed minded point of view of the bible and say that most of the Old Testament is lies! HAHAHAHA thats funny to me coz they believe the New Testament word for word. IMO it was all written by man and who's to say any of it is true. Besides there are literally hundreds of scriptures, books and gospels intentionally left out of the bible. Any 1 care to explain that away? Information in these lost books contain such knowledge as Lilith was the first woman made and eve came second, made from a rib from adam's body. Who knows what other information has been left out. I mean if it was originally intended to be in the Bible. then y isnt it in there?

The OT is the Jewish bible the Jewish community does not believe in the NT. So how can Christianty be based on Jewish faith?

As a christian i still follow the old testament , you know exluding what jesus/ the apostles told us

The Holy Bible contains both Old and New Testaments, The Christian religion is based on both Old and New Testaments. So in a way yes, it is based on the Jewish religion.
How can a so called "Good Christian" hate jews? Jesus(were told) was Jewish, and no he was NOT killed by the jews, the romans killed Jesus.

Christians are supposed to follow the strict rules that God laid down and Jesus later revised. I mean the Christians in the U.S. started out as Puritans. If you know your history, you know what a strict bunch they were.
