I know we've talked about religion in school bu this article just talked about the bible being taught.

I have no problem with religion being taught in schools along with myth and mythologies and as long as all get equal time .

but one religion in depth ? no. and it should be an elective.

If there is a demand to teach a particular holy book, I would say go for it, on the proviso that 1- it is an elective, and 2- that other religions should not be excluded from teaching their holy book concurrently to those who want to hear about that book.
