:skA new series is starting on Sept 23rd at 9pm on the UK Sci-fi channel called "The Dead Zone."
The series is based the Stephen King Novel of the same name, I'v not read the book so I don't know the plot but hey! if it's by Stephen King it has my attention. ;)

Haven't read it? That's my case too but I saw the 1983 movie with Christopher Walken and I found it really good, I swear!

At that time he wasn't playing in Fatboy Slim shots!

It deals with a man, who after a car crash and a 5 years coma is able to see the past and the future of people...

 Unfortunately for us in the states, the woefully short series (13 episodes) comes to an end this Sunday. The good news is that it's been picked up for another year,  :su it was one of the most popular cable series this season. You're sure to enjoy it, Anthony Michael Hall, while no Christopher Walken, is an excellant actor in his own right, and does an admirable job in the lead role. Other actors of interest include David Ogden Steirs (of MASH fame) & Nicole de Boer, the cute little pixie who played the Trill in the last season of 'Deep Space Nine'. ::drool::  :s04

 Here's a link to the web site devoted to the series, it contains interviews with the actors and a brief synopsis of each episode;

It's not only my favorite show, but it's my ONLY show! Other than watching sports and the news and educational programs, that is the only show I watch.

I agree with you KC, last week was the best so far.
Great Big Sea
It's a okay show I rather watch Charmed and other shows though.

They've just begone to play it on French TV since two weeks ago and I have to say that I like it very much! It's a very good surprise it had been a while I wasn't interessed in a show. original.gif

Good news for those of us in the states, after an extended hiatus, the new season of The Dead Zone premires June 6th. It was a very popular series, but I'm curious how the long delay will affect its continued success. Have to confess though, I'm still looking forward to its return. thumbsup.gif

The book was pretty good. You guys should check it out if you haven't already.

I've been watching an episode here and there, more so at the end of last season, and I gotta say I'm looking forward to seeing what they're gonna do with the Greg Stillson plot. I wonder how true to the book the writers are gonna be?

While it was a bold idea, I wasn't too thrilled with the Osama bin Laden episode. Huge windup, not much of a pitch though...
