Lately all I've been doing is PC gaming, so I'm surprised I'm even anticipating a console game this much. It's really the only game series besides the final fantasy series that gets me hyped up for it's release. I can't believe no one else posted about this game yet(That I can find). The prior games of the series were amazing, and I just can't wait to get my hands on this. I know some people are upset about the character roster, but I have to say I'm more than excited about it. We have most of the important veterans with the addition of some amazing new comers such as Sonic, Snake and more. Not to mention they've added ALOT more "side-features". The trophies, stickers, etc might not appeal to many people, but it's definitley a nice addition that also brings up the games reply value.

The final smashes also look like a very nice addition to the game. Some seem like they could have been flashier, but for the most part they are all amazing and the feature will play out well in my opinion.

Anyone else anciticpating this game as much as me?! I also can't wait to play on Wifi and see what kind of competition is out there.

Absolutely it's my most anticipated Wii game so far, however being down in Australia we still do not have a confirmed release date so it's really hard to get excited about it. However it look's like we will get Wii Fit and Mario Kart before it so that makes the situation a little better.

Got the game on the 9th and havn't stopped playing since then. The game is just simply amazing. Way better than Melee in my opinion. The CPU AI is alot more advanced than in Melee. The level 9 CPUs are BRUTAL. I can beat them pretty quick now. I managed to beat level 9 fox in a one on one match with one life and no items in under 2 minutes and managed to get hit only once. I'll upload some videos when I get an SD card.

They don't sound as brutal as you say.

That's me vs a level 9. I think after that fight, I have a right to judge them, and they are pretty damn smart. I do not mean this in a cocky way at all, just saying that I hate when people act as if I don't have a right to judge the skill of the CPU or that if I call them "tough" or "hard" I automatically suck. At least I made a video of fighting one unlike all of the others calling them "very, very easy".

They will sit on the spawn platform if you use a final smash to avoid being hit because they "know" they are safe by the spawn protection. I'd have to say their AI is at LEAST triple that of Melees. The level 9's are better than most average human players by far.

Now of course, being a CPU, they will sometimes do stupid things. Maybe it's just the fact of how much BETTER they are than the melee CPUs that makes me put them higher up.

Why not just normally store the console horizontally? Also Wavebirds can still be found in plenty on Ebay and at most Gamestops. Personally I use a wired controller with two 4 foot extension cables. Never any stress on the console then.

It gets kind hot on the bottom if you do that at least mine did anyway. Why not just use a classic controller? at first i thought it was weird but nothing like SNES controller with analog.

Has anyone tried to play with the Wiimote sideways like a NES controller?

I havn't tried it yet, but I do find the Classic Controller to be very nice with brawl. I love the way the controller looks, and it has all of the necessary buttons, all placed in a convenient spot. It's basically a sleek and sexy Super Nintendo styled controller with analogs and an L and R button. =)

I just wish you could use the control PAD to move.
