The director of a Norwegian museum claims to have found cartoons drawn by Adolf Hitler during the Second World War.

William Hakvaag, the director of a war museum in northern Norway, said he found the drawings hidden in a painting signed "A. Hitler" that he bought at an auction in Germany.

The coloured cartoons included sketches of characters from the 1937 Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which were signed A.H., and an unsigned sketch of Pinocchio from the 1940 Disney film.

Mr Hakvaag, who said he had performed tests on the paintings which suggested that they dated from 1940, said: "I am 100 per cent sure that these are drawings by Hitler.

"Hitler had a copy of Snow White," he said. "He thought this was one of the best movies ever made."

Hitler tried to make a living as an artist before his rise to power. Nineteen watercolours and two sketches said to be by Hitler were sold in Britain two years ago for a total of £118,000.

Well... It's a nice painting. It could be made by Hitler...

If people just bought a few of his paintings when he was younger, World War II may never have happened. Gotta love the butterfly effect.

The art school that Hitler applyed to attend rejected him. Two years later he rose into power and eventually 6million+ jews were dead. That Art school really should have let that guy in. Big boo-boo on their part. I wonder if they ever kicked themselves.

....In 1907 Hitler took the entrance examination to the Vienna Art Academy. To his surprise and annoyance, he failed. "Test Drawing Unsatisfactory" was the verdict of the examiners; they advised that he try architecture instead. Since he lacked the technical background for the study of architecture, he could not follow their advice. So he spent the next year hanging around in Vienna, living in boardinghouses, writing letters home in which he kept alive the fiction that he was a student at the academy, reading copiously, going to the opera whenever he could afford it. Wagner was his favorite composer: he claimed to have attended at least thirty performances of Tristan and Isolde. Sexually he remained chaste or at least self-sufficient: he had a horror of being infected with syphilis.

How does 1907 to 1933 become two years?

Yeah, if more people would have bought Hitler's paintings, he'd just have been a meglomaniac whacko artist making a living, but I'm sure Stalin would have made more poop happen even if Hiltler didn't....
