My name is Larry. I have recently come across this site. It is very interesting to me. Alot of topics on here are. But this "ASRTO,ASTRAL Projection has me interested alot. Ever since i have been a little boy, probably 4-5 yrs old. I can remember being asleep, but at a point i am aware af whats going on in my surroundings, like people around conversing, or the television on , sounds, my little brother talking. But for some reason i cant talk, or move, not even open my eyes. It has always freaked me out because ive never known what is happeneing. It happened again this past weekend...Feb. 23rd 08.
It has always happened throughout my life and ive never known what is it that i happeneng. I feel like im paralyized. I tryso hard to throw my arms around or kick my feeet...even scream, but i cant do anything. Ive always wanted to find out whats the deal, but never have untill now. A close friend of mine was explaining to me about all kinds of things to do with Metaphysics and so on...Then she was talking about astral projection and i was like, wow thats whats happens to me all the time........If someone could maybe explqain whats going on with me, if it is indeed a form of this astral projection, or am i just over reacting???? I would really appreciate anyone input , or knowledge....

this weekend, i was laying on the snow "in my snow gear" i was just about to leave, feeling vibrations and movement but i was drawn back because of some noises i was listening to, the wind picked up and i broke my concentration. as i sat there i started to feel like i had the bed spins lol, i was twisting and turning, it passed and i got up.

P.S. Yes what you experienced is sleep paralysis, which in turn according to my experience is when your body is asleep and your mind awake in your astral body, but your astral body is not completely disconnected from the physical, rather it is just slightly out of phase, so that makes it feel like you are indeed still in your phyiscal body but unable to move because your physical body is sleeping and not responding to movement done by the astral body and since the astral body is not disconnected you feel "stuck".
In this state you can also experience other astral things such as astral sight, which means seeing astral entities etc, or astral hearing, which means to hear astral sounds (can be sounds, words, someone speaking to you etc) and often the feeling of a presence which in turn often turns out to be either yourself or your guardian angel or other astral entity.
