I have been doing some research on the events that occurred during the investigation at that location and can't find if it is a hoax! I was wondering if anybody has an article or a link about the group or the events there being a hoax? I ask this as my friends and I are thinking about getting back to doing investigations/research at locations again. As we are very interested and all have had experiences since childhood, this is something important to us. We had decided to stop and take a break as things started to become physical at the locations we were at. We all had been touched and pushed some of us had received bruises and other odd marks on us. Myself and one other person had received cuts while at one particular location. That and the the fact that the work would seem to follow us home is the reason as to why we stopped doing investigations. The other day we were having coffee and talking about starting back up and then I remembered this video I saw a few years back. It just got me thinking about the bad things that could happen. So if it is a hoax it would be nice to know.

Will have to go to the public library to view this as i am at work. They had about the San pedro Incident on tv on either Discovery Channel SCI-FI
or some other channel. Dr.Barry Taft was I think one of the investigators.
A woman and her family moved into a house in San Pedro ,Ca. and started having strange things happening in the home.
During the investigation of the home,one of the photographers was up in the attic and was hung by the enitity. No,he didnot die, they saved him in time,and the lady moved from the house,only to have the ghost up to it's old tricks again,because it followed the family.
The family I think returned to San Pedro.I think they became free of the ghost finally.In fact the house the family lived in, never stayed rented long.The ghost called to be a murdered seaman and gave the investigators a name,which indeed checked out.He was angry he had been murdered.

Much as I love Ghost Hunters, I could never do what they do. That would be my worry something would follow me home. I'm not Wiccan,so I would have to do some sort of prayer to keep the spirits where they are at. An experienced Wiccan would probably know spells to bind the spirtis to where they areresiding so the couldn't follow you home.

As far as I know,it was not a hoax. Maybe you can tell us about some of your investigations. As you know,you can be touched or hurt by spirits or ghosts.
In the one episode of GhostHunters they did an investigation at a house in their area. Jason got scratched on the back.He felt nothing when it happend,but did later.And in the Leap Castle episode, Dustin got pushed.In fact when Dustin says he feels sick,you can very faintly in the background hear a man laugh.
This was not any of the TAPS crew nor the SCI-FI film crew either.

If you are being hit or touched or scratched at locations, I think the best thing would be to not bother with investigations anymore,unless you have people coming to you for help and advice.If your team has some clients by all means help them,but don't put yourself in danger.

While I am a witch and not Wiccan, I do know that a prayer or spell of protection for you before entering a place would be more affective than a binding spell.

I think ghosts following people is a rare occurance, but because it's so unexpected and at times frightening, the few occasions it happens are usually treated as a bigger deal.
