They said it's going to be unlike any other albums. I'm not worried though I don't see how they can disappoint me lol. It's weird how it's already been three years almost since 10,000 fists I wish they would release an album every year. 2-3 years is pretty good though some artists wait 4-5 so I'm happy. original.gif

Every year? No, I can guarantee that their albums would suck if they did that. Bands need to take time to create albums.

But I am looking forward to this album a lot, especially because it's supposedly going to be heavier than their previous albums. I already though 10,000 Fists was pretty heavy, too.

Yeah I know if they released one every year it would most likely suck. 2-3 years is really good though and I'm very excited lol.

Indestructible is, without a shadow of a doubt, the heaviest, darkest, most metal, and overall best album that Disturbed has put out. Period. Buy it now.

I preordered the limited edition in April. They said those that preorder it early get it the day it came out well it's not here yet lol. I'll just have to be patient.

Lol, that sucks. Don't know if what I got counts as the Limited Edition, but I got the version with the DVD for $15 at Best Buy, which is a good deal since it's normal price is like $24. DVD is pretty cool. The artwork is really awesome, especially on the DVD version case. My favorites from this album as of now are Enough and Criminal. Really though, the whole album is fantastic.

That's cool. The limited edition I got was available only through Disturbed. It comes with the B-side track "Run", a making-of DVD with instructional videos, wrap around poster, VIP laminate, access to special Disturbed events and a special website with exclusive video, rare audio and more. It was $42.97 total but seems so worth it lol. I'm hoping it comes very soon. I could go around online and find the tracks to listen to but I won't spoil the album lol.

Most do require time (esp newer bands), however, some of the really great ones don't. Many of the early Stones and Zeppelin (others too) albums were written, recorded and ready for distribution in the same month. The one that really comes to mind is Deep Purple's 'Machine Head' (IMO one of the greatest rock albums ever) which was written, recorded and produced in 27 days total-even with their hotel headquarters burning down to the ground ('and died with an awful sound' per the song 'Smoke on the Water'-which was written the morning after the fire over breakfast...)

Why can't newer bands get back to this 'rawness'?? You would think that newer recording techniques and equipment would speed the process up..not slow it down..

/just wonderin'..
//lookin' forward to 'Indestructible' as well.. thumbsup.gif
