Not sure if this has been created before or not. But here goes.

Has anyone ever been possessed or come close? If you have, please share. I have come close to being possessed, I'll share my experience.

There is a stretch of "road" (old dirt road) in Baldwinsville, NY. (Upstate, suburb of Syracuse). That is haunted. Look up Whiskey Hollow for the story behind it. Anyway, myself and some friends were out investigating when I thought I heard some movement off to the side. Thinking it was just an animal, I turned my head to double check. There was nothing there except a steep hill about 7' high and a stream at the bottom. I had a flash light in hand and my flashlight got stuck on a certain spot. I had lost all control of my hand, as I could not feel it anymore. I watched the light as it moved in a small area about 3' away from where it started. My sister, who is a shaman, came over to see what was going on. I told her I was stuck on that one spot in the stream, she said it was just an energy spot, nothing too big. When she told me to come on and look around some more, I explained that I could not move. Her boyfriend at the time had to physically pick me and and move me. She told me later, that I was in the beginning stages of a possession.

Anyone else have something similar?

Heard of a man who was possessed by a bear spirit. Everything I've dealt with in this area have been people looking for attention though.

I've become way overcome with intense emotions in certain spots. I'd walk down doing an investigation and I'd suddenly burst out crying [and I'm a tough cookie, I rarely cry]. There was a time that I was laughing with a few of my friends and next thing I was on the floor screaming and shaking uncontrollably in a spot that I believed to have the most 'activity'.

But not possessed. I'd like to hear people stories though.

I found some info on Whiskey Hollow

Whiskey Hollow - It is a 5 mile road with no street lights or houses. it is all forest. it is said that back in the old days devil worshipers and members of the KKK used to worship up there and kill children as sacrifices...it is said that if you drive down the road at night you can see the children walking and there is also a bloody blanket. it is a very eerie feeling.

I go to to Whiskey Hollow about once every two weeks. That's where I get my spring water. In fact I was just there yesterday - Never once have I 'felt' anything out of the ordinary there. I've been in places where I've 'felt' a feeling of dread and Whiskey Hollow isn't one of those places. It's a very beautiful place. It's peaceful and serene. The only stories I've heard of it is the 'cave' (which really isn't a cave at all) is the place that many rowdy parties take place.
It is illegal according the county posted sign to enter Whiskey Hollow at night. Next time I'm there I'll bring along my camera and snap a few shots for everyone to see. It's a really cool place and I enjoy going there.

Interesting. I had a strange moment once when I went to Alcatraz with my father. I was there on vacation and during the tour I walked into one of the cells. When I did, my head started to hurt and I fell backwards. I tried to go back in, but my body wouldn't let me. your story is very interesting

I may know you...where in Syracuse do you live? Before I joined the Army I was in Liverpool. We had gone to Whiskey Hollow around 11:30 PM or so. A friend of mine showed me the place, it is a very beautiful place indeed.
