Hi
I am new to this site, so I want to introduce myself., I have alot of strange things happen in my life which makes me think there are ghosts or spirits., and I seem to sense things before they happen, some seem stupid, like when I drive, everytime I sense a cop is by me, they always are lol..or I get bad feelings, right before earthquakes hit, stuff like that. but last night I had something odd happen, I changed a light bulb in a ceiling fixture, got down, and about 5 minutes later the cieling fan went on, on full speed, I had to climb back up on the table and shut it off. I had that happen in another house along time ago, does anyone know if that is a short in the wiring? Or just a phenomenom?

Oh, just a short bio, I live in hollister Calif.. (this sounds odd, but true) I was born June 6, 196... so my birthday is 666, (I am in no way evil etc.. this is all chance.. I live on Elm dr... and on my license, I used to have certain endorsements... class B.. PMS P-Passenger M-motorcycle- S School Bus.. I have since dropped the m. And for fun when I got married, (I am no longer married, we married on Holloween) But I am far from a bad person, these situations are purely coincidental. But I do seem to be mentally keyed in on my senses.
Thanks!!

And I submitted a photo of a fireball taken in the Mojave Desert, it has a horsehead or dragon image on it and below it a mans face... it's being approved right now so not sure when it will be posted.

About the ceiling fan it depends on how new the house is. My gf and I were sleeping last weekend and at about 4am the ceiling fan light turned on. She started to freak out but I assured her that its nothing. We turn it off and about 10 minutes later it happened again. She lives in a fairly new house with remotes for the lights in her house. If the batteries are about dead they tend to play with the lights. Also it is programmed much like the snooze button on an alarm clock. The light comes on every ten minutes for a certain period of time.

This is a mobilhome built in 1969, It is a very old home. But the last time a fan went on, it was about 10 years ago in a brand new home. One home I lived in, really made me think twice about paranormal activities, because the toys in the spare room would go off every morning when I was getting ready for work, mostly a toy jewelry box, and one day before I was moving out, I was in the bathroom and the door openned and closed, not all the way though, it was ajar, it moved open, then closed back not shutting. I thought it was my dog, but he was downstairs at the time... so I really question stuff now lol.

Other than the ceiling fan turning on in your house , has anything else happened to you since you've been there ? Although spirits can pull enough energy to turn on electronic items , it is rare that it would happen to just one device that uses that much electricity and not effect any other electronic devices . I would have the wiring checked in the fan ( dont want a fire ) . If there is nothing wrong with the wiring , you may get the answer you are looking for .

Ok, only one other thing happened, and this is going to sound really funny... This last Superbowl, I was flipping through the channels, ok, so I don't watch much football... and I turned on the game, swithed around for a bit looking for a good movie, none were on, so I left it on football,,, a few seconds later it flipped it back to the previous channel, as if it were someone saying... don't watch football lol.. I didn't touch the remote when the tv decided to watch something else.. it sounds funny, and all I thought to myself is, "Ok MOM you don't have to watch football lol" I turned it back on football to see if it would do it again but it didn't. Other then that not much activity.. sometimes it sound like someone is in the next room banging around, but I alwasy ignore that stuff. Too scared to go look lol.

Well , it could be something going on . Those are 2 things that if someone isn't comfortable with , they can change it ! As for things banging around in the next room , if you live by yourself and no one else lives there , good possibility . If you have a voice recorder set it up anywhere in your home , ask some questions . IF something is there you will get it on the recorder . If you do not have one , take some pictures ( At Random ) and see if you notice anything .

Yes I live alone, my kids here part time.. I did have a recorder, but I have to find it. That is a good idea., I had many unusual things happen in a home I lived in before I moved here., even my daughter got spooked.. the shower head used to fall occasionally, and it fell on her once, she is 10 but she refused to take a shower unless I was there with her. Then I was toweling her off, she was about 6 at the time, and it fell for no reason, she gave me the most amazing look, it was actually funny. I was getting used to wierd things happening to the point I wasn't really scared anymore. I woke up one morning with huge sounds of someone banging the closet doors in the room next to me, really violent sounding, I looked at the clock, it was 2:00 am exactly, my adreniline rushing, I sat up and listened to it until it stopped, I had two dogs at the time and was too afraid to let them go look in that room. I check the next morning, and nothing seemed wrong. I tell you, I am a skeptic, with anything man made, I know it can malfunction, but sometimes I wonder. I would have to actually see someone standing in front of me to believe, but even then I would think I was imagining it. The other day at work I took a cat nap in my car, when I tried to wake up I couldn't, I was awake, but I felt paralyzed, I couldn't open my eyes, then somehow I forced myself to wake up, it is a scarey feeling. Sometimes I think it's all stress. but that fan sure did come on by itself, and that TV hates football!! those things were not in my imagination!! lol

I have alot of experiences like you . The ceiling fan never but one time the metal drawstrings to turn the fan on clinked real loud and when i looked up they were spinning out of nowhere.

I have witnessed unexplained ceiling fan rotation in a friend of mine's house, in the 90s. It was rare but happened enough it was noticed, occurred usually when one particular acquaintance who had a sort of confrontational attitude was present - the fan would turn faster than the lowest "on" setting but not as fast as the next-highest. The house did have a very shallow "attic" (talking like a couple feet tall space) and vent at the front of the house, between the top of the front door and roof, so its possible it was due to some atmospheric phenomenon none of us were familiar with.
