The Red Pill
Death, it is known as the ending of life, and the hopeless inevitability. One which we cannot fight, death will happen and we cannot stop it. When we die, we could either go to an eternal paradise, reincarnation, or fade from existance into eternal nothingness only to become a memory or a forgotton human... These are just prime examples of what will happen after we die. What do you believe will happen after we die?

I personally don't have any beliefs about what happens at that instant. Maybe some hopes. Of course we cease to exist. Completely I think, at least as we were. If something carries on, it won't have any memories of this world or attachment to it. It even says in the bible that we should not cling to this world. That means every part of it, every memory or love, it all becomes meaningless at the point of death. It would be nice to spend eternity lounging with a youthful lover in a meadow of flowers, but come on.

He doesn't really provide any evidence for his theory, but its an interesting idea.
For those of you who dont have video-savvy computers, basically this guy postulates that we have souls, but they operate on a "radio frequency" (note the quotes)
That when we die, we basically switch from this "frequency" to another.

won't know till I get there. I can hope. listen to those who had NED's , but NED's aren't death. it isn't permanent. doesn't go all the way so unless I hear from the other side I don't know. I know what I'd like , but that's not the same.

I don't know if this will happen during our waiting for the end of time. But we will remember everything in this life and the pre-existance.

The worst that will happen is that we will return to the state of existence which existed before our conception (now that wasn't too bad was it)

The best is that we will acheive immortality in an existence without corruption pain or suffering of any form. I reckon i could cope with that and with any of the many possibilities in between.

It is our self aware consciousness which chooses not to like the idea of its existence ending. This is natural, given the nature of that consciousness ( to which experience of data input and the power of processing this data, is the sum total of existence)

However, if we can step outside our self aware consciousness (as humans can do) and look at the universe from a holistic perspective, our singular individual deaths are really not particularly significant.

Thus why should we be concerned by them. Worry instead about making a differnce in the quality of life of another person, or doing what you can to maintain a sustainable ecosystem for us all.

Then, while your death will still have made no measurable difference to the sum total of the universe, at least your life may have.

personally i believe we are here to learn and better ourselves through our experience. i think when we die we go to a place that will allow us to grow more and become closer to the likness of god. we all fit our living conditions in that they allow us to experience the various things we came here to learn. we each chose the life we are living before we were born. i think when this life ends we will go to a place and we will recognise the things this earthly existance taught us and we will look to further our evolution by chosing another existance to experience. this existance may be back here in the physical or on a different earthly plane or even on another planet and one of its planes. who knows it all depends on what we learned from and what we didnt
