This happend to my dad when he was a kid does anyone have any info on what this could be? My dad was sitting on his bed and he just saw a red hand appear from the darkness near his bed. Then he heard his mom say "your hand is bleeding" then my dad went in their and his dads hand was all red and bleeding. Is my dad some kinda psychic or what.

Slightly more plusable than physic powers methinks.... yet I think someone would have noticed a man under the bed

I have a similar story but there was a blue hand beside my bed. This eventually lead into unwanted events.

Ahhh...Talon, the consumate skeptic. I must say that I admire how you stick to your guns.
I am not arrogant enough to think that I know everything, however, I also don't believe all that I hear.
In my eyes, it is best to approach things with a truly open mind. This is not to say that things should be automatically accepted as truth, but that, in a world where so much scientifically is a mystery, nothing can be dismissed as horse s@#t simply on the grounds that it doesn't mesh with our good senses.
After all, it was once considered unfashionable to believe the earth was round, hm?

If indeed your father isn't pulling your leg, there will not really be a definite answer to your question.
No one can deny that for the vast majority of parents and their children there is an indefineable and powerful connection. I would go out on a limb and say it's fueled by love (but that is just my theory).
Perhaps it is this same connection that allows some to know that something's wrong with a parent or sibling when the phone rings unexpectedly in the middle of the afternoon.
I believe strongly in the possibility that this type of connection could exist, because I've experienced it myself. Different persons at different times have sworn that they know why it happens, but no one can truly answer as to why it happens. It's all a matter of conjecture.
Bask in the mystery. Embrace it. Until the science of it advances, we'll not have our answers.

There is probably a rational explanation for the red hand. More likely to be that it is late at night, your parents are about to go to sleep and the brain is in the twighlight zone stages and they both kind of hallucinated the same thing. Which in itself is still paranormal.
