I'm originally from upstate New York, we often summered at Lake Champlain. Many local people claim to have seen Champ, but I never got a glimpse of him. It does beg the question of a possible link between Nessie in Scotland and Champ in New York. I wonder, are these two critters described in the same manner?

Very cool story

Not quite as big as I expected Champ to be by the fishermen's description though. Maybe it wasn't Champ and it was one of Champ's offspring? More than likely some kind of freshwater eel though.

Looks like a new species of water snake or eel. Not the dinosaur like monster everyone is talking about. I'm disappointed.

Dosen't it make sense that the image actually seen in the footage is extensions of an animal or "creature"?

why don't someone just grab a camera and jump into the water?
the champ doesn't eat meat, does it?
