FRINGE TOPIC AGAIN.

I used my intuition on a new hobbit fossil article and sensed a lie about iodine. Iodine deficiency causes shrunken humans, not hobbits is the new Hobbit argument ARTICLE SOURCE

My intuition told me that iodine from fish and rock salt vegitation dispells the argument of these people growing without iodine. but my intuition told me that the latesrt news report was deliberate misinformation. Because I may be wrong with my assumptions, I wanted to ask here..And also to learn :

Are there Hobbits on the Moon?

No really, are there?

No seriously, does anybody know anything suspect or conspiracy based about any hobbit bones coverup?

I know several conspiracies on dug up bones. I am curious if my hunch about the Hobbit is spot on or way off..Can anybody help me pleeez.

I just want to know if the scientific community are diffusing real data with plus and minus information...

My definition of conspiracy misinformation is THE BLUURING OF THE FACTS BY PROVIDING OPPOSING ARGUMENTS OF NO SUBSTANTIALITY, OR THE CREATION OF INFORMATION THAT CONTAINS FACTS WITH EMBEDDED LIES, TO LEAD AND MISS INFORM.

Maybe someone can teach me a more refined definition of what misinformation is please.

That could be a pygmy skull. Wouldn't a hobbit skull be wider and rounder? I don't know.

I think this is what's called "thinking outside the box".

No, there aren't. Thanks to your question, though, I now have this song stuck in my head and I'm afraid it's not going to go away for a long, long time. Just thought I'd share the pain ... grin2.gif

Misinformation is information that is incorrect, but not because of a deliberate attempt to mislead. Believers in misinformation are said to be misinformed but not lying. It is commonly confused with disinformation. The spreading of dis-information is a purposeful attempt to spread a known falsehood, whereas mis-information is the result of ignorance (compare [1] with [2]).

Pericynthion, I hate you for that.

I think it's called "mistaking your deep ignorance for profound knowledge". If there's anyone (besides Zaus) who proves Pope right better than when he said "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing", I've not met him.

Most Hobbits prefer Hobbit Holes over Boxes...along with a flask of good ale and a pipe of weed from the South Farthing.

Hobbits are fictional characters from J.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings Series of Books. huh.gif
