Now if you know me and my dreams then you would know that I don't just wake from dreams with a snap of ones fingers. There's usually something within my dreams that says "Okay, you're dreaming but you have to wake up now."
But on this night I woke suddenly, no warning, no sign, I just woke. I was still very tired and honestly half asleep, but I KNOW I was awake.
I opened my eyes and looked up at my door and saw a man. My door was only open maybe four inches, but I saw him as clear as day. He was tall, maybe 6 feet and a few inches, he was covered by the shadow of night (obviously since it was pitch black.) However the light of the moon coming in through my window made him stand out a bit more... his body was a dirty gray color... he wore a long black coat and dark pants, but I could only see him somewhat clearly from the waist up. He had no hair and his face was somewhat sunken so that he had the face of a skull with skin. Meaning his eyes were like black sink holes, he appeared to have no nose and his mouth was only a thin black strip. I don't remember what I was thinking...to tell you the truth I don't think I was thinking anything at all, but he made me feel protected...but in a sadistic and distubring way.
I watched him for what seemed like forever, though in reality it wouldn't have been any longer then 20 seconds. Finally I just closed my eyes and fell back to sleep immediatly.
When I woke the next morning again I knew that it had been real and that it definitly hadn't been my imagination so what exactly was it?
Now, this was the first and only time I've actually seen him in his physical form, but I have since changed room locations and I'm now downstairs. Since the move into the basement I have heard him on several occasions and I have seen his shadow pass by be many times. Each time I know that it is him because he gives me the same feeling that he gave me the night I saw him.
Strange I know, but I feel like I'm becoming attracted to a shadow man. (that's what I call him because I don't know his name or what he is.)
So yeah, this was the first time that I can ever remember when I saw something unexplainable...and I've been looking for the truth ever since.
