Oh man. I know a guy who got a flamingo drunk with alcohol-soaked shrimp. Now I know what that would look like.

Funny as hell =D! Sorry to ruin the fun, but I found this comment. Don't know if it's true or not:

..... elephants, warthogs and monkeys got drunk from eating fermented marula fruit. Later research showed that these scenes were improbable and, in all probability, staged. Elephants would need a huge amount of fermented marulas to have any effect on them, and other animals prefer the ripe fruit. The amount of water drunk by elephants each day would also dilute the effect of the fruit to such an extent that they would not be affected by it

I saw a thing on Animal Planet about monkeys getting drunk. It was hilarious. I think it said something about eating fermented fruit too. It was really interesting because it made a point in saying that the same percentage of monkeys that abstained from alcohol was the same in humans, as well as the percentages for the "casual drinkers" and the flat out drunken monkeys. lol. I think that's a pretty interesting scientific study. It also said that monkeys that are drunk get more respect. The same show had stuff on animals eating things (on purpose) that would make them hallucinate and stuff. There's some kind of tree bark that jaguars eat that makes them trip. . .then reindeers eating some kind of mushroom. . Then it showed alot of animals "the morning after" at a spring and mud pit naturally detoxing. It was great. Theres alot of stuff out there about animals doing things like that.
here's some links on drunk animals:
