A British primary school teacher has had a lucky escape from the jaws of a lion after she was mauled during an African safari.

It's funny people don't realize that even domesticated large cats can be extremely dangerous. For one, why wasn't the cat in her visual at all times? Duh. Who wouldn't do that. I mean c'mon... the little baby lion just wanted to play... they don't know their own strength. Shame on her for not being prepared. And yes, I've worked with Big Cats before. The one I own now has a handler because she's become somewhat of a brat but I still love her... Mya♥

Lions never become domesticated like any other wild animal they alway remain wild.

Common sense should tell people that if large animals only attacked when provoked or ill then our ancestors would never have feared them as much as they did. I think the present age is the one filled with morons. They knew animals and animal behavior much better in the past then todays specialists give them credit for. They had to know it to survive.

That 1 yr. old lion knows how easy it was to take a human down and may come back for more now that it had a taste of human blood. The African Safari may get a little more bloodier.

Let's face it, she was in the Lion's territory, and when that's the case she should have been more prepared....

what happened to the lion?
That's very interesting She-ra. . .I always wanted to work with big cats. My aunt does animal rescues and she works with dangerous animals all the time. . .big cats being included. They are always being sold in the exotic farms in texas, and when they become too much to handle or get abused they go to my aunt. She's been doing it her whole life and has had no accidents. I feel bad for the woman, but people need to know the proper way to act around animals like that before they put themselves in their company. I think she's dealt with it well though. . .at least she doesn't really seem to think ill of the lion. . . .
