These have been around for a while, they're Sony's QRIO. They can be programmed to speak different languages and they have a unique feature which allows them to jump (less than an inch wide, but still!!!). I remember that Beck, the singer and pop artist, featured these robots in his videoclip "Hell Yes!".

Wow, it's amazing how fluint the movements are.

I love those robots. The movements are so smooth. The Japanese are great, using their technology for entertainment instead of war.
