Ok i know some of this totally sounds like BS, i think that im just crazy though. I see weird things on the roof of buildings all the time. Its started when i was at my friends house in his room. His closet has a small window and i could see it through the open closet door. I was standing up talking to my friend sitting on the bed and just happen to look out the small window. Through the window you can see the bottom of the roof as it slants down. I saw something that looked like it was on all fours crawling up the roof really fast. It kinda looked like a small person with no legs. It was all black and moved silently, but really fast. I maybe saw it through the window for not even a second. It was a windy day so maybe it could have been a bag or something, or a bird. When i saw it i kinda got startled and it didnt really scare me until i thought about it later. I casually said to him "dude i just saw like some weird thing crawl up your roof", and he said something like " shut up thats creepy". After seeing something like that you think i would like freak out, but maybe i just didnt believe what i saw so much that it didnt scare me. Then we never really talked about it. Whats weird is that we always talk about aliens and we were talking about aliens when i saw it. A few weeks ago i was looking at the moon from my window and could see the side of my roof next to my window. I saw a black thing like slowly walking across the roof, and it was pretty big, almost like a persons size, but so dark i couldnt tell any details. I looked for maybe a few seconds and ran into the kitchen. I was home alone and it scared me real bad, i just stayed up the whole night holding a hockey stick. The other moment that really sticks out is when i was walking back from the liquor store at night. I took a dark ally way and i totally thought i saw something big fly across the ally directly over me. I ran to the end of the ally and pretty much ran home. Other things i see are like, ill catch a glimpse of some red lights moving, that seem like they're floating, or ill see black things moving really fast from far away. This happens quite often, maybe every other night or so on different rooftops im going by. One time it was a tall tree. These dont really scare me i just say "oh there it is again". I told my friend all this stuff and we've come the conclusion that im crazy. Or i have aliens following me, and im gonna be abducted soon lol. When i say to someone "Look! theres something on the roof over there", It either goes away or they just cant see it, so i stopped pointing it out. All these things have been going on for about 6 months now and i can never make out any details, i cant tell if its the same thing i see every time or if its different things. Its always black and at night. I saw the lights only a few times. Anyone have a suggestion for what the hell im seeing? I been looking around here for a while now just never really talked.

Hmmm interesting.. i have seen similar things, not in the UK, but when i was in kashmir. I saw a black shadowy figure moving up a roof which high speed to, very fast, very black. U can make out a figure, but not the face or anything dinstinctly. I know what they are, we call the Djinn. they can shape shift, they natural appearance is not visible to us, only when they take up certain shapes and make them selves visible. I believe you are probably being stalked by a djinn. When i saw it, the village i was in most poeple saw it too, but the house it was occupying its residents could not see it, everytime we would point it out, when they would go up top of the villa, it would rush down the side of building with such ease, and when they left, it would climb up very quick.

Are you absolutely sure it isn't stray cats?In urban areas they're all over the rooftops.Even in my rural neighborhood they're up there(don't ask me how they get up theer but they do).They can get fairly large too.I'm not disproving wat u said,just a possibilty.

Also i wanted to ask something.I hear ppl talking about d'jiins alot and i've killed some in video games(lol) but wat exactly are they?i'm curious.

Sounds like shadow people to me... Pretty much a spirit, that all you can see with human eye is its shadow. There is a spirit in there.

wow, that would freak the crap out of me! A similar thing happend to me at my grandmas house, I was passing by her room to go to the bathroom and i glanced in and there was a dark figure standing on her bed looking at me. I couldn't see its face because it was completely black but could make the outline of a huminoid figure. So I ran in the bathroom and shut the door , and did my business. When i went back it was gone. Though it could have been a ghost because all of my relatives said my great grandmother died in the same room.But the figur i saw was masculin and kindof muscular, not that of an old woman ghost

I know this is sort of a cliche and annoying response to things like this, but are you sure it hasn't been an overactive imagination? I'm only asking becuase it seems like every time you saw something, you were already creeped out, or talking about something weird. Dark alleys, talking about aliens, just seems prime for seeing something because you were already worked up.

I'm not saying that's what the case is, just a suggestion. I mean, if I were seeing things on rooftops I'd rather have it be my imagination then a djinn lol. I doubt you're crazy, I'd go with what I said above, but maybe it is a spirit or a djinn.

Maybe you should try to take pictures and see if anything shows up?

Yeah im totally open to the idea that im imagining things, but most of the time i see them when im not thinking about it at all, or im with people. I have tried to take pictures with my cell phone a few times, but its quality is so bad that you cant see anything. I do have a digital camera but most of the time im not anywhere near it. I might just get up my courage and take it outside and go for a walk at night and see if i can come back with anything.

I was thinking at first you might have seen a spider on your friends window and, lacking time to distinguish perspective, your mind transformed it into a figure running across the rooftop next door...

On the other hand you have seen it since, so that means we have four possibilities here :

1. You are imagining things - Not impossible and something to keep in mind.

2. You are lying - I won't rule it out, but if you wanted to lie you would make up a more mundane story.

3. You are mistaking other stimuli for these things - your mind is pre-disposed to see these figures, so now a shadow, bag, cat, "Floater" in the eye might appear as it.

4. These things are real.

Let's discard number 2 for right now - impossible to really prove. I'd like to take out number 1 right now as well because other people have independently corroborated your claim - at least enough to think that there is something to it.

That leaves 3 and 4... and I have no idea where to begin deciding on those.

I agree. Also this is very similar to a scene from th crap film Signs, in which a very similar figure is seen on a rooftop. Also you started your post with an exclamation that you weren't BSing, you straight away said that. That sounds slightly suspicious but I still believe you are seeing these figures, but I believe they are in your head.

i dont think that just because it "could" be his/her imagination, that he/she should be discredited.

There is a possibility of it being a protective spirit following you, or it could be something more malevolent.
And by the sounds of it a djinn isnt completely out of the question.

Who knows. There is a possibility that it is autonomous... working outside of its normal behavioral patterns, like a stalker...

Djinn is the arabic term given to a form of specie which shares the earth with mankind, but within a different dimension and plane. they have the ability to cross over from plane to another, unlike ourselves, this is due to their true form which is a like plasmic or gas type matter. They have the ability to shape shift and come as many diffferent things, but often when they do, there is always something wrong, like you can never make out any distinct features or always very black, shadowy, but the nature of the black is so dark that you would still be able to see it against the night sky. Accoridng to scripture, they are made smokeless fire, for example, if you have gas lighter, the tip fo the flame, which is colourless, yet the hottest part, is what their were originally made of. They existed on the earth as a free willed creation of God, previous to mankind, but when man was created, they were pushed out in to other dimensions and remote areas of the world etc. i could go on all day about them.

You see, this is a typical example of Djinn living in the same house as humans, and often manifesting itself, either to scare the residents or maybe its stalking someone. Seeing black shadows on beds etc, is typical behaviour of theirs. They will come as poeple you recognise, making you think they are ghosts of dead people, but if we die and then linger about on this world, its means life is pointless and has no purpose, so djinn often come as dead people to reinforce the beliefs in ghosts. Not all djinns are bad, some are good, they have their own faiths, and some follow our religions too, christians, jews and muslims amongst the djinn. They often appear next to poeples bedsides, and often its females who stalked by them and harrassed. But it could be anyone really.



Well there could be several reasons, it could be from you disturbing them, or their family or their household with out realising or delibrately. Djinns are used as assistants by practioners of black magic and mediums, the latter i mean proper mediums, not your amatuer stuff. Someone could have sent it after you, or have you been away recently, maybe to a remote location, camping, or desert, im just guessing. They are either stalking you, coz some has sent it after you, or you have disturbed it and pissed it off, maybe with out realising or deliberately, or it has a an attraction to you, which is all plausible, they often posses people, to get revenge, hurt them, or because their attracted to them. I really hope its none of them, but get it checked out. Is there anything wierd you may have done, or a weird spooky remote place you have been to etc.

One small problem, Djjn aren't real.

The first thing that jumped out at me is that you saw these things in stressful/fear-inducing situations (whether you were conscious of the tension or not): talking about aliens at night, home alone at night, walking through a dark alley alone at night. All sightings were in shadow.

Misinterpretation through fear is my conclusion. Even if you didn't consciously feel scared, your subconscious brain is going to make shapes out of nothing and blow things out of proportion.

I still think it sounds a bit too much like that scene from Signs.

Hmm your account makes me so happy that I don't look at roof tops much because if I did i would probably start seeing these things. I guess the interesting thing is you can seem to detect them like when someones watching you and you look directly at them. I'm not really sure how to go about getting rid of whatever it is, dont spose you could get one on film or a picture, now that would be great.

These sightings of weird things sneaking around at night kinda make me laugh. But not because I don't believe you, but because when I was a kid me and a friend used to sneak into places/climb over stuff at night and mess about for sh**s and giggles and to "freak people out", as well as for the challenge of doing it without getting seen

I remember once we snuk into a factory and managed to re-tune some lone guy's radio when he wasn't looking 3 or 4 times before moving on without getting spotted (I'm sure the random guy never figured out it was us). We used to climb into all kinds of buildings through the smallest gap possible.
