Thanks rebs! yep they're simmons! mild 351 with 4 speed toploader, nine inch with 3.89 ratio lsd. photo was taken just after putting new tyres on back and day before i sold it ! Glad to say my mate still owns it and hasn't had one prob with it . This weekend i'll scan the magazine shoot of my xd esp! Unfortunately all my photos were lost during my move interstate but i still have the magazine it featured in . I'll try and post them on saturday for you guys!

lol! I posted on all this few times now SS. It's all to depressing for me ya know...
I owned a Genuine Monza Green 70/71 Falcon GT Shaker for approx 12-13 yrs in was in (approx 95% original but mickey mouse cond) I let it go at a sweet price 'at the time' (3^1/2yrs ago) But as you know what the GT & GT-HOs fetch now (last 18 mths-2 yrs) err you can understand my disappointment...I invested the money well but i'm still kick'n myself in the ass a little for it. The bloke that bought it off me sold it 12 mths later for almost twice what he payed for it. The dude that brought it off him is now laughing all the way to the bank...oh well, 'such is life'...

I now own a 96/97 Hilux with all he goodies attached (for work & play) & the other half drives a '03 Grand Cherokee Laredo.

Word of advice boys....hold on to them 'classics' no matter how bad things get for ya financially eh, ya never know whats around the corner.

It was mine, but I sold it because I needed a 4 wheel drive.
But it ran fine, after a bit of work. It actually had a 22 shell replacing one of the fuses. Sometimes I had to have someone push it a little to get it to start.

Shame, I think it's damn cool. Love the colours..

Did lots of body work and new paint. But it has the existing sink, icebox, cabinets and beds. The inside is not bad. But it is well worn. I did repaint it using the existing factory color. It's always fun getting visitors when we go camping. Meet lots of new people that way.

That's identical to the bus my parents had when I was growing up, except theirs was that lovely pea soup color. LOL. That was the car I learned to drive a stick shift on when I was 14. LOL. Man my folks were hippies. But even hippies grow up... they still drive german, but now it's in the form of a Mercedes sedan. LOL.

This is my old XF falcon I had it for a couple of years it had a leaking head gasket
since the day I bought it but went really well.Sadley I sold it for $150 dollars to a scrap dealer
after my son got it stuck in gear after giving him a driving lesson.

Here's what I used to drive, but due to horrible winter weather here combined with rear wheel drive made me get rid of her back in December. I now drive an '04 Nissan Maxima, but I don't have any pics of it yet.

Seriously, I drive a Metalic Balck/Blue Holden Commodor V6 2001. #Plate's........... FANGIN.
Its got traction and power buttons If It means anything to anyone. "Full doughies"

I don't have any pics of my new car I bought last month (my stupid little Audi died a sad death... blown up engine--my Audi was exactly like CRTbuds, but black instead of blue).

The car below is a 2001 convertible SVT Cobra that I used to own (lost in my divorce, still mad! LOL)... the one I have now is identical except it's the GT and it's red. The GT and Cobra are virtually identical except the Cobra has a V8 4.6 DOHC engine, the GT a V8 4.6 SOHC engine. Honestly, after owning both, there's not much of a difference between them for these production years (my cobra was an '01, my GT is an '02... no cobra was made in '02). They feel about the same HP wise. I think factory, the horsepower difference was suppose to be about 35HP.

They're totally fun to drive. vrooom vroooom... they have great sounding exhaust. LOL. Killer Bee is right though, they SUCK in bad weather. Luckily, I have the V8 (killer bee's is the V6 it looks like), and the V8's have Posi rearwheel drive where the V6 doesn't. But I'd never take this car out on snowy or icy roads around here... it would be a giant sled.
