Kudos Ho... err Gigan tongue.gif

Mr Redfern,

Welcome to UM!
  • What spawned your interest in monster hunting?
  • Have you ever felt to be in danger doing what you do, physical or otherwise?
Evangium
I'd definitely like to hear Nick's take on how 'Body Snatchers in the Desert' has impacted on the Roswell ET/Military coverup community.
And also if he's uncovered any new leads since the book was originally published original.gif
Bogeyman
From what i can see after years of interest in the UFO phenomena , the most filmed , photographed , seen sightings concern the silver spheres. These are usually filmed in pairs or in fleets.
Whats your opinion on these?
Thanks
Bogey

First of all, kudos to all for providing this venue, and especial thanks to Mr. Redfern.

Mr. Redfern, do you believe it possible that any large cryptid animals remain undetected in today's world? If so, how or why have they remained undetected? Thank you.
anonymous51
Do you think it would be possible to trick aliens into abducting a willing volunteer with hidden cameras/recording equiptment? It's seems to me an excellent experiment that has so far not been tried.
bogcreeper
Do you believe that earthlights..aka willow wisps etc. could be intelligent? What is your opinion on the tectonic strain theory? How much of a correlation do you see between UFO's and Earthlights? Thanks for any time that you can give!!!!

If you consider land animals, or even different species of men who are said to still exist (apeman, neanderthal, etc.) please have in mind that they inhabit remote places. The locals often meet them and there are many reported cases of interaction between local people and these creatures. But when an outside expedition comes in, it disturbs the environment: the explorers or scientists bring different smells, they create noises, they camp out, they bring clothes and objects of different colours, what have you. All these elements combined scare these animals away. Running away, hiding, hunting in the dark or developing their ability to smell - these are their tools for survival and to remain undetected.

Well, if I had the chance I'd ask him:

You study both the UFO phenomenon and the science of Cryptozoology, domains of knowledge in which you earned the reputation of a specialist. Reading studies as the ones provided by John Keel and Loren Coleman, I was often led to believe that the manifestations of both, as seen in the particular case of Point Pleasant, may indeed have the same common origin – whatever that may be. Would you agree with that?

Thanks for letting us all participate!

I would like to ask

Mr. Redfern.
What do you consider as reliable - sources and individuals. Is there a criteria, a feeling, credentials, historical accuracy or background checks? What is the best way to determine truth from enthusiasm or outright porkies?

If I may be permitted 2, I would ask if Mr Redfen has any knowledge of why the '07 famed Milt expedition to the Congo was cancelled after the effort of a prelim mission in January '06?

Mr. Redfern

I am interested to know, as a cryptozoologist, your veiws on the possibility of living Moa in the vast Fiordland countryside, as I am having huge amounts of trouble convincing my friends who laugh at the idea and all evidence I provide for it without even giving it a second though, which is quite distressing.

Thank You.
Piney
Mr. Redfern, I know the reputation of the BFRO is highly tainted but I act as a local guide in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey for the BFRO researcher Mike Argano. Although I know no other member of this organization I know Mike to be a upstanding, honest and very unbiased researcher who has shown high respect for both the beliefs of my tribe and the local people who inhabit this area. I ask that people not judge the BFRO for the actions of some of it's members.

Dear Mr Redfern, There are a lot of conspiracies out there regarding Cryptozoology, what do you think the chances are of getting some hard evidence on creatures such as Bigfoot in the near future, thousands of people would love to see it proved and with technology getting better and better, the chances of proving to people that these things do exist must be getting closer and closer, so what do you think, will the existence of Bigfoot or any other creatures such as the werewolf or chupacabra be proven to exist in the near future or will he/she continue to evade us, or is this more of a lottery, where the existence could be proven tomorrow or in ten years time?
ufo guy
i would ask him:

ive heard stories about an area 51 worker who was fired and started telling the secrets about aliens and ufo's there then his mind was mysteriusley wiped clean.
what are you views on that?

You mean Bob Lazar? I know it's not my opinion which is being requested here, but if you're mentioning this person you should know that his controversial claims could in fact be a misinterpretation or a convenient distortion of the truth. Maybe he used state of the art technology from military projects as the basis for a wild story which made him known to the public at a time when X-Files fans were desperate for this sort of material. Is it a coincidence that when he told this story he was broke and had lawsuits in Las Vegas on account of debts in brothels and gambling parlours? He earned his share of media time, publicity and he was interviewed for various magazines and newspapers - he must have benefited from it monetarily. His stories are outlandish and most of all unsupported, coming from a person who seems to have little mental sanity.

But I’d sure like to see Redfern’s answer to this question!
therion24
Mr. Redfern, do you think ETs use wormholes to get from their point of the universe to ours?
