Deluded are a one man machine right now which is my good friend Jay. Almost all of the guitar parts are written by him on his program. All the bass, drums, keyboards & syth are written by him on his program also. All of the secondary vocals are from his program as well. All of the main vocals are his. Jay is the mastermind behind Deluded and does it all to give you what you hear in these 12 songs on the VampireFreaks Deluded profile currently.

I hope everyone who visits Jay's Deluded profiles will enjoy all the songs on it and if you have any questions regarding Deluded, I will be more then happy to answer them and if I don't know, I can ask Jay and get back to you.

They're trying too hard to sing rather then letting it come out naturally. With some more practice they could be pretty good... Maybe.

They keep swearing in their songs for really no reason and how they do it. Most rock doesn't have that. And when it does it's at least appropriately placed. When they swear they put it out there like they think it's the worse thing ever. Come to think about it... They're a cross between some rap and emo mostly with a touch of rock with some songs. Their songs do not need to constantly rhyme.

By the way I did listen to all the songs on their myspace well cept for Eviscerated, they should try and forget that song ever existed.

I can't place it but I know that the tune for Incineration is a rip off of something like 3 days grace or someone else but I am 100% sure that I've heard that tones before. I listen to the radio somedays and it's just a blur.

For I am not a butterfly on fire. ph34r.gif

It's not they, it's only Jay at the moment and I personally think he sings naturally. Jay has many, many different singing styles cool.gif

You mean Jay again and he doesn't swear in all of his songs cool.gif

That just Jay's style and Deluded are more Alternative then anything. Some of the lyrics have a rap vibe to it but Deluded are most definitely not a rap group.

That's cool and what's wrong with Eviscerated? That's one of his new songs and it's awesome! Did you listen to Eviscerated or no?

Deluded are 100% original. Jay doesn't try to rip anyone off and Incineration is one of his best songs, EVER cool.gif

Alot of it seemed VERY forced, the singing/scremo stuff (which I'm not a fan of in this case) didn't come naturally and flow with the rest of the music...

One of the songs "Noones laughing" was good at first but in the back of my head I have the nagging feeling that I've heard it somewhere before..

Take a listen to this guy..

Screen and your friend have a few things in common.. try getting a more natural rythm and temp in the singing..

Wow, these are my thoughts exactly after hearing only a couple of songs!
And for a personal extra, I think Deluded could make it big. I don't and probably never will like Deluded, but I think they can make it big.
Most popular music sounds about as interesting. tongue.gif

If this came on the radio, I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and all other bands (read: crap) that play mainstream American.

I just can't find myself liking it at all. no.gif

That's cool that you think Deluded's music is crap but it's makes me wonder how many songs you actually listened to by Jay because there is lots of variety in all of his songs provided here cool.gif

One day, Deluded's music will be all over the radio so you best get ready for that day because it will be coming sooner then you think cool.gif

Here is some news from The Deluded Master Jay:

April 1st is fastly approaching so if you haven't ordered your copy of the new album please do so by sending me a message and letting me know where I'll be sending it to. I'll return your message with the address to send your check or money order.

-I finally found a title for the new album that I'm 100% happy with. "The Day of the Accident". For those of you that are familiar with my other albums this may seem like deja vu to you. I previously released an album titled "A Day Before the Accident" I assure you these are two different albums. I hope to tie my past work with my present work and in due time my future work as well. (Yes, I'm confirming a trilogy) You should be able to pick up on the future title if you give it a little thought.

-For those of you new to the Deluded scene I'm posting a one week exclusive listening of "A Day Before the Accident" on www. vampirefreaks. com starting March 31, 2008 ending April 7, 2008. Since only 12 songs can be listed the instrumental ending track "Parallel Universe" will be cut from the track listing.

I'm being very generous with a free (internet only) listening of "A Day Before the Accident". Music makes money but also costs money to make. Please do not abuse your privileges to gain access to a free illegally downloaded album. If you like what you hear and want a copy of the album please message me and I'd be more than happy to sell a copy to you for a more than reasonable price. Below is the warning that comes with everyone's free listen. Please use courtesy and follow this warning for your own benefit.

"Warning: The unauthorized reproduction or distribution of this copyrighted work is illegal. Criminal copyright infringement, including infringement without monetary gain, is investigated by the FBI and is punishable by up to 5 years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000.

"

-Now that the legal sh** is over and you've read the rules to follow, ejoy your free listen and the new album.

Did I mention it's out April 1st?!?!

THE FUTURE OF ROCK N ROLL

Hi, had a listen and I think that it's fair to say while perhaps there is a grounding, I think that your friend has quite a fair way to go.
Perhaps, he could go back, relearn some of the basics, listen to some classic alternative bands, and then find his niche?
I think that the problem is that he really is trying to hard, and by doing that he is ending up being a bad emulation of others, rather than himself?
