Well I beleive I have an open mind, I can exept things I cannot change, and I beleive in ghosts. I don't mean that I beleive in everything, cause I don't, I can seperate the hoaxes from the real experiences. My friends beleive in ghosts, or at least they say they do, but they won't beleive most evidence, even the things which make experts in the feild of the paranormal think twice.

You know, sometimes a person doesn't know if or when they have psychic ability until they start seeing a repetitive pattern in their life.

For example, I never knew I had the gift of "Clairvoyance" until I began seeing mental images whenever I would lay down to take a nap or during daydreaming when I'd enter the state of "reverie". During these times I would get mental images of places I've never been to. Then months later, these places would come into my life.

Thats awesome..I know I have seen buildings and KNOW I have been there before, however I never have, and havent since. Do you also talk or see dead people? JN

Heightened Intuition...My Gram was gifted with visions....I was not. Things come thru in dreams for me sometimes from people passed.

I think we all, to some extent, have gifts... It's just a matter if we accept them, tune them, or make excuses for them/denial.

No not really, more like hello visits

i'm not really sure what my gift is, i havnt really discovered it yet i guess....
sometimes i can tell if someone is watching me or shows up, sometimes i finish peoples sentances before they can finish it, i'm not really sure though. sometimes i meditate to calm my self and tune out the world around me and focus on myself but havnt had too much time lately. i'm trying to develop my skills if i have anything, what's wierd is sometimes i get these heavy feelings right on my back in the blades near my shoulder and it feels as if something's like comming out of there, it's strange that i've had this feeling since i was young.

I agree Hun, we all have gifts, talents or whatever we call them. I dont deny them, I embrace them. But I am still half blocked but little by little I am opening up..I think you have the ability to sense things in photos and stories. You are pretty accurate my sweet friend..JN

My job has helped me quite a bit... and when you have certain patterns through out your life, it just gets to a point where you can't deny them.. you start accepting them & learning them.. thats how it is for me anyway.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW I know, that must be so stressful and sad. I was watching CNN last night about the Polygamist nightmare, in TX. All those little ones, all those pregnant teens, and ALL those dirty old men. When I was in the hospital I watched it, and cried for those children. Poor little things. Anything to do with children is a heartbreaker. I give you alot of credit my friend for doing that job, I know I couldnt..KUDOS to you...JN

Speaking in part on my end and seeing- feeling their suffrage-- It's the reward that keeps me going... It can be so damned depressing at times... so, its the images, little notes & pictures (I keep all of them,) and memories I get from these kids that keeps me motivated.

No, i don't talk to or see dead people, but sometimes when I'm resting or going to bed for the evening, when I close my eyes and almost drift off to sleep, I'll see a smiling person as clear as I'm seeing my computer monitor. Sometimes it can be a child; other times it's a woman or a man. I don't know if these are people that have passed over. I know I haven't met them. Sometimes I see snapshots of people in black and white. It's strange. I wish I knew what it meant.

I get images as soon as I awake in the morning.. If I go to bed with questions, or certain issues on my mind the answer is there as soon as I awake.

WOW That sounds interesting. I know I get images, flashes of people, but they always have a message for someone. I dont hear their voices exactly, but my own voice, sort of like my inner voice or it sounds like a thought, only it means something. Guess its ESP for lack of a better term. I dont see much and actually fear seeing things, but hearing voices, or sounds, and seeing orbs is enough for me. Have you ever tried to maybe meditate and get some more information from these images? JN

I honestly don't know what my "gift" is yet. I haven't experimented enough, unfortunately.
Currently, my strongest "gift" is empathic psychic stuff. I feel emotions, presences, clues, "get the hell out of here" feelings... etc. I guess intuitive, sorta?

I on ocassion have visits from those who have passed..only a couple and then thats it. And only in dreams. I was going to elaborate last night but it was time to leave work so had to go.


My dad died 2 yrs ago... I waited for his visit and waited....it was a while before he finally came. I asked him what took him so long... The wise A** that he was replied " Ive been busy!".... I understand there is a "introduction period" they go thru.
And then there was a visit from a woman I worked with for many years. She died at least 5 or 6 years before she visited me....And iI dont know why she choose me. I was fond of her and cared about her but not as close as she was with some others...???? Havent figured that out, but its ok..I just accept it. My aunt has come twice, and I have gotten visit fron my pets that have passed too. Some might say "yeah right" and thats ok if you dont believe...Wait till it happens to you.
The pets are different though, obviously because they cant talk. Its more like a "knowing" in the visit with no exchange of words.
And then a darkvisit I had because I helped my dad. I beleive it was my guardian angel who helped me..again just a sense who it was... I never saw his face...and we both fought off this dark entity and it left defeated. It was pissed I helped my Dad, and they didnt get him.

So its interesting to say the least

My Gram who was gifted hasnt come to me once! Thats upsetting to me...But hey, I figure she was elevated to begin with, because she saw visions and was truly gifted above me... so perhaps shes been busy too...Im sure shes with dad, and he can be a hand full...he died at 12:29 on the clock and 1229 was my grams phone number for almost 30 yrs. so i guess that was my sign to say theyre together...I dont beleive in coincidences..Its all purpose.

We get little signs all the time but dont realize what they are...

I beleive that each of us come into this world with a mission. Our purpose in this life. Its the thing that brings us joy and enthusiasm... entheos is what its called in greek....
It means "God within"...Enthusiasm is one way intuition speaks to us. So follow your heart and listen to your inner voice, and learn to TRUST your guidance...Intuition is from the Latin word "intueri" or to see within. way of knowing or sensing without explanations.

Well, I'm not sure if you call it a gift, but I am highly sensitve. I am able to communicate with my spirit guide(s) and spirits would be around me constantly if I didn't block them out. I've always had the 'gift' but not until I had a near death experience giving birth to my daughter did it really start to shine. I can see orbs, I have a spirit dude living in my basement with his daughter and both of my children have the 'gift' also. Many of my premonitions come to me in dreams. I am a very lucid dreamer so it makes it all interesting. We even validated the man in my basement through old records of the land we live on. He used to live here in the 1880's. He told me his name and everything and my neighbor and I looked it up and sure enough he is (was) real. From the time I was a little girl I have always seen spirits, but to me they were real people. I just found out about a year ago that my Uncle Ed had died before I was born, but I was convinced that we lived with him when I was very young (we moved into his old home) because he would always visit me in the basement. I was telling my grandma about him a while back and she was like "Uh sweetie, he died before you were born." I was conviced that I knew him and he lived with us. That was very strange. Anyway, I have it under control now, otherwise they would bother me 24/7. It's a very strange ride that I've been on in my life and it just keeps on getting more and more interesting. I'm just glad to know that I am not alone with this 'gift'. I'm not crazy--I swear!

Thats great. I believe they choose you, because they know you can handle it, see and hear them. If you werent a sensitive you may not even remember or pay attention. Not everyone has intuition, even though we would hope they do. I know what you mean about meeting someone and just know if you like them or not. I always thought that was karma, but thats just me. I also believe in soul mates, and the second I met mine 17 years ago, I knew his soul if that makes sense. I felt I knew him my entire life, and we are still going strong. WOW good post. I am alot like you, except for I dont see spirits, but I sense them and they give me messages to relay to others. I have been this way since I was a child and to me, its second nature. Thats pretty cool about your Uncle, and apparently he was and is around you, so basically you did live with him. You are not alone by a long shot, and NO you are not crazy at all. Wow JN, we are alot alike. I thought it was normal to have those perceptions as a child. That's probably why they call it a sixth sense. It was as normal to me as smelling, tasting, touching, hearing. When I hit my teen years, I didn't dare tell many about it. I was from a very small town and didn't want to get pegged the town freak. So, I kept it mostly to myself. Now that I've gotten back in touch with my sixth sense I've had the spirits hound me at the casino, on vacation, at the bar, at the grocery store--everywhere!! If I feel strongly about the message I will give it to the person. But it is a little wierd when you give the blackjack dealer a message from his dead uncle. If only the spirits would tell me the lottery numbers or which machine to play..oh well. Here is one thing I find kind of stange, when I see a red orb around the right shoulder of someone that usually means a Loved one has committed suicide. I gave a message one night to a friend of mine who had the red orb around him and I was completely blown away by what I was saying to him. Everything was completely spot on correct. His friend had taken his life and the guy took me off and showed me where he did it, why he did it and gave me messages for all the friends that were around. That completely freaked me out. I knew his name, his sister's name, his girlfriends name, what kind of car he had. He had shot himself in the car and I was there and saw him do it. I usually don't blurt out messages anymore like that, but I was so wound up from it I was actually crying cause I could feel his pain. It was very bizzare. Anyway, it's nice to meet and kindred spirit here on the earth plane!

I guess we are alike OMG..I was one of 5 children, next to youngest. While everyone played outside in the summer evenings, I would lay in my bed, look at the sky and just "know" things. I was so curious about life and death my Mother worried LOL..I was different than my siblings and very quiet (not anymore lol)..I remember when my Grandmother died, I think I was 7 or so, I forget. She came to me, and I saw her in full form. She talked about equity in the house, and for my Mom not to fight over money or the house etc. To me, it was normal to get messages so I told my Mother. She was shocked that I even knew the word equity LOL Looking back,she left the house to my Mom but she and my Aunt had a falling out, but nothing was said to us kids. Then I woke one day and ran downstairs and said "There is going to be a bad airplane crash, and they will tell "US" to put our heads between our knees, take off our shoes and put a pillow over our heads." I was like 8 yrs old IF..Never been on a plane till I was an adult. There was a plane crash that night, and that was the protocol for the passengers who all died. Its things like that, that made me who I was. I told my Mother everything till she took me to the doctor and he said I had a vivid imagination. Then like you, I decided to not say anything because no one understood, but I did. I dreamed my Mothers death and Eulogy to the point I couldnt sleep. I told my friend who wrote everything down and she did die, and I had it word for word. I also knew my brother was going to die, but I couldnt stop it. The night before I woke crying hysterically but my hubby said it was a bad dream..He died that night. I began Atral Projection at the age of 5 and went to China and told my Mom all about the political issues,I was not even in school yet, and never been to China.I dont have to ask for it, it just comes to me randomly. Funny you mentioned the red orb. I mentioned on another thread that 2 years ago my son's best friend overdosed and died. We didnt know it that night. I had to go to Doctors so my son drove me. WHen he came to pick me up he said while he was walking down our stairs there was a red orb, that looked like the end of a lit cigarette dancing all around him, and said it didnt scare him but it was all over him. That night we learned of his friend's death. I also saw a red worm thing in my bedroom that same night and took a pic. I went thru a haunting of the worst kind cause I was TOO open, and someone evil got in. Ive read people online too and one lady got mad and said WHO ARE YOU? I was playing an Internet game at the time. She flipped out but finally believed I didnt know her. I described the vehicle,the accident and names of children who died. She lost her WHOLE family OMG..So, I dont do it anymore either LOL..I see it, I feel it and I say it. I am semi blocked due to the haunting but sometimes thing come thru anyway. Nice to meet you too kindred sister. Ohh I almost forgot, I love Vegas and am SO lucky, esp at Blackjack cause I kinda know when to hit and when to stay. LOL..I read a dealer one time and she was awesome. It was quiet so we began to talk and I blurted it out LOL..I scare the heck out of my kids and b/f....JN

Once - maybe twice - but I am sure that once I was able to astral project. I was almost sleeping, but not quite, and I left my body on the bed and wafted outside and I could see the panorama. Then, I realized that "I was sleeping" and I jumped myself awake. I may have tried again the following night, but I can't recall if I succeeded and I know that I haven't been able to do it since.

The other thing I have, I can see the future. By that I mean, I can handily gauge the probabilities of certain outcomes if people (like at work or in business in general) do certain things. I can see it coming... It's not a "psychic" thing, it's just a lot of education, study of history, a good understanding of group dynamics, and knowledge of psychology. I can just see it happening. Some others who have this gift make loads of money - but I am no shark. Something blocks me from seizing advantage to the detriment of others. I just warn of the outcome. Usually people don't listen. And then, often if they don't listen, the system (workplace or project) collapses...
