I came back from spain yesterday, shocked to find a religeous ceromony, where people parade dressed in the same attire as the kkk.....

i can only imagine there is a sinister connection between the two uniforms!...upon witnessing this even, i felt physically sick....

I think you will find that the Semana Santa ceremony has been practiced from long before the KKK was even thought of .So your post should have said "the KKK dress in the same attire ,thereby not sounding as if you were biased in some way , The rows of nazarenos, or penitents, who walk along with the float.. You may even see many nazarenos walking barefoot, don't be thrown off by the resemblance between the pointed hoods and long robes of the nazarenos and those of the Ku Klux Klan; it's coincidental and completely unrelated.

This dress for penitents during Semana Santa predates the KKK considerably.
Is there a connection? Who knows, perhaps the KKK were trying to sponge off some of the air of god-aspiring contrition, ritual or blah blah blah
