Has anyone heared anything about the sightings of megatheriums, giant ground sloths, in South America? I remember a few years back some scientist was tracking them, and claimed to find a den with fur littering the ground. If anyone has heard anything or knows of any good links or has pics, let me know!!!

I saw a show on the Discovery channel about it awhile back. I dunno if he ever found any hardcore evidence however. I would recommend doing some searching on goggle, yahoo, and maybe on the discovery website.
