Why do we think we are the superior beeing?
I can not see that.
Why do we have to be so cruel?
I hate that.
Why is it so hard to love?
It hurts.
Why is it so hard to get anyone to understand?

Its an impossibility we learn not just by what we are told but by our experience also. So you are saying to ignore our teachings and our experience, if we did that we would no nothing therefore not be able to think.

I agree with you on all the points you put down- humans indeed are cruel.
I don't think there is really anything we can do about it, though, unless we all thought differently. I doubt that's going to happen soon.
The thing is, this world will always have sick, twisted, evil people in it.Hard to accept, but they always will be there.
That's why it's nice to have a religion,and believe in life after death. If you believe you'll go somewhere wonderful after this horrible life because you have been good, and not mean like everyone else, then that helps.
Just try to live the good times as much as you can.

thats how i feel too kaj. i think people should find their own truth and not simply adopt someone elses.

I'd rather think people would be good for good's own sake, asking nothing in return, than only do so with the promise of a happy afterlife as a result
I manage to live a perfectly full life, being kind to others, and giving what I can to those less fortunate than myself, while believing that when I die, the only person who gets the happy ending is the funeral director

Regardless of wether or not you are nice while in this life , I believe we will all pass on to the next part of the cycle and there is very little we can do to alter that . So really yes we should be bieng good just for the sake of goodness itself . It may not alter a bit what happens to us when we die but, atleast it will make a big difference to the way we live

IF we actually did think that we were superior maybe we would take some responsibility for our actions. take accountability for anything done wrong.
the sad thing, is that we are superior beings that just dont care about anything but ourselves. we have the capability to do anything that we want. too bad all we want to do is screw everything up beyond repair
I know there is good in humans too.. I just get so sad when I see us accept awful things.. .. I want to get better..I want the world to be a better place.

Hope the good sides come out more in the future.. I put my hope to the younger generation.. they seem more awake to the harm we do to our Mother Earth.
Hope everyone will wake up and look at the world with fresh eyes..instead of the 2 dimensional "society" "this is the way it is" eyes

I am disgusted by the meanness and selfishness of so many people..
But, as I said, we should try to live the good times as much as we can. Feeling depressed all the time won't get us anywhere. i should know, I've been depressed alot..
I think that trying to be happy every day, living your life to the full, and generally enjoying all that you can and helping others is a way forward.

It's human nature to be greedy or cruel. Part of survival instincts or something at the very roots of it I guess.
Some people just don't have compassion.
I try to be happy as much as possible and even if I'm not happy, I smile anyway. A smile at any random person can make their day. It certainly makes me feel happy when my friends smile at me.
