BERLIN (Reuters) - A stroller sold in an Internet auction in Germany came complete with a deadly plaything -- a pistol loaded with six bullets.

A young couple from the northern town of Verden found the 9 mm Sig Sauer pistol in a side pocket of the pram after collecting it from nearby Hamburg. They called the police.

Officers searched the house of the 39-year-old seller, who could not explain how the weapon had got there.

"He said it didn't belong to him," police said Wednesday.

Man. I'm glad they found it before anything happened to a small child.

So if it's not his. Then where did he get it from?

Someone who had the gun may have seen this stroller empty and got rid of it there....Lucky the people found it...

Why would they call the police? They had a free gun!

Thats what I just thought. Why call? And if they dont want it, sell it.

But then if you did that and this gun had been used in a robbery, or to murder someone and by some chance the police find it in your posession it could be you going down for a crime you never commited! And your defence, oh well ya see i found it in a second hand stroller your honour! How well do you think that would work out for ya? I know with my luck thats exsactly what would happen!

Nah, just tell the cops the story then if by the insanely unlikely chance they ever get a hold of your gun. They just can't try you for a crime without building a case.
