Cryptozoology:BELIEVE!
We live in Ironwood Forest National Monument (I think… I dunno) in Marana, AZ… basically in the middle of no where. Now, I am a big skeptic. I believe in UFOs and Bigfoot and whatnot and can easily debunk stuff but… this time, I’m stuck.

Now, about the area we live in. Very few people, desert area (after all, this is Arizona), with a military base no one can get into, not even my father (who is very high up in ranking and can get into Area 51). The area I live in is also a major hotspot for many UFO sightings. We’ve seen hovering lights that were kinda like the Phoenix Lights. We’ve seen strange animals, one that looked like a mix between a beaver and a mole, one that looked like a big ass lynx… Someone even reported having seen ‘aliens’ walk though their yard (don’t push me on that subject because that is all I know).

So, here is the setting. My parents and older sister were driving home after eating out at a nearby restaurant. My sister and I turned on our MP3 players (I did because I was sleepy from eating so much) and I shut my eyes. The volume was low on a really quiet song when I suddenly heard my mother start to freak out. I asked her and my dad who said they saw something that looked like… well, I don’t remember and I’m not in the mood to waddle over to the living room and ask. My dad, who knows a lot about the kinds of weird things you see that are actually known things, said that it wasn’t a meteorite nor a plane crashing so… UFO.

As we pulled into the driveway, about one or two minutes after the first one, I saw a UFO.

It was a bright, bluish colored orb that had a light dusty trail behind it. I saw it for a fraction of a second before it vanished. It didn’t go super fast to the ground like a meteorite nor any sort of aircraft that I’m aware of.

We hovered outside for awhile, listening to the military copters flying over to figure out what it was and then we went inside.

So, anyone have any thoughts on what it could actually be? I was thinking maybe a rare, atmospheric event or something…

EDIT: I apologize for any spelling or grammar mistakes.

Did you get any pics? Were there any other witnesses (besides your family?)

Wow I wish my car had a living room ! ....oh I see, you mean you cant be bothered to ask them now ... ok well

I think what you saw was possibly an alien spaceship come to collect the little garden walkers that wonder round your place, either that of the Molvers (beaver/mole hybrid) have evolved so rapidly they are currently into testing anti gravitational transport devices .

If you actualy do live near a military base then don't you think that there is a greater chance of it being a man made object of some kind, I would have thought you would have been used to it what with your dad popping in and out of area 51

No. As I said, we were just heading home from eating dinner. So, I didn't have any sort of way to photograph or film it. Even if I did have a camera, by the time I'd get it set up, the orb thing would have vanished.

And I no idea if anyone else saw it but us. We don't talk to our neighbors that often.

Are you saying you dont know where you live.

What is the name of the base your dad can't enter?
Davis-Monthan AFB: Anybody can get in with the proper paper work/visitors pass.
Evergreen: Its civilian owned so you can't get in unless you work there or unless you ask.
Pinal air park: I think they do some army training there but if your dad can get into area 51 he shouldn't have any problem getting in there either.

As far as you sighting(s) is concerned, welcome to the desert. Get used to it. I was born and raised there and have seen to many cool and weird things. Flying things, crawling things. Wait till you meet a wind scorpion. Keep watching towards the south west and you are bound to see flying things that can't be easily explained.
