No...the driver did not pull a gun out. You are seeing what you want to see, not what actually happened.
The "gun" is a reflection off of Agent Kellermans head.

I didn't believe it when people started telling me there is no way to open the eyes of the blind, for even if you can, their eyes do not work...

EDIT: Take a closer look... because REFLECTIONS OFF OF HEADS... are usually NOT straight lines...

There is this thing... its called a "3-dimensional object" in this case a "head" if you are not familiar with the term i suggest you bash that "big thing with your face on it" into a wall or pillow until you figure it out.

From years and years of research into "3-dimensional objects" such as the "head" which is "spherical"(meaning goat-shaped, obtuse, and non-existent) i have found that "light"(like from a coffee machine) always "reflects" depending on the "angle"

I have never seen a shinny head shoot anyone, or light reflect in a STRAIGHT LINE(like a "gun barrel") off of anyone's head like that.

I guess you ignored the physics of 9/11, so i cant expect you to know what a "head" is anyway.

Sure looks like the head of the guy next to the driver. Especially as we can see the left arm of the driver on the wheel (as evidenced by seeing his white shirt where his suit coat is open, if he pointing backwards with a gun in his left hand you wouldn't see the white shirt as his torso would be rotated more.) I also can't see him pointing with his right hand and having the gun be right next to him where the reflection is. It would be farther back. And of course there is the fact that no one else in the car said they saw the driver with a gun or heard a shot come from within the car.

I still don't see a gun.

Zaus, if you look at that video several times, you can clearly see that the agent's head moves... forward and backward. If you also take note, the sun is shining in his eyes.

As he turns to look behind him (gosh, in the direction of the book depository!!), his head moves backward (relative to the motion of the car), and the top of his head is no longer in the shadow created by the top of the car's windshield/visor. This means that the sun can now actually hit his head. As his head turns, the sun is now visible on his head, as clearly seen by the nice line of sunlight that you can see on the SIDE of his head. Then, as he turns and leans forward again, the sun is blocked by the windshield/visor again, and any and all reflection is gone.

Let's see, I'm a Secret Service Agent in charge of protecting the President. As we roll merrily along, I would want my eyes shielded from the sun (visible in the movie). Suddenly a shot rings out that sounds like it came from behind, I look to survey the situation (also visible), and see that the President is hunching over and his wife is suddenly concerned about his welfare (also visible). I turn back to the front to access the radio and/or get any firearm I might have in case danger gets close, and at the same time, the driver turns back to look back at the sudden commotion behind him. I then look up to keep surveying the area for potential danger. Where didn't I look? The grassy knoll.

Where did the cops look? Gosh, it might be at the grassy knoll!! Or... maybe, just maybe, it might be a little closer. Like at the High Value Target they have in the car next to them. OMG!! They might have been looking at the commotion in the CAR!!! No WAY!!! Cops actually checking out the person they are supposed to protect?!?! Go figure!

Dude, you need to get outside and check out some sunlight. Go to the park and look at the way sun reflects off of people's heads and you will see what looks like a "straight" line. It's called an optical illusion, as we all know that most people's heads are not flat on top. The effect is magnified by the low quality film in a low quality camera. Check out time marker 2:10-14 in the movie and you will see the little chrome frame that holds the CURVED windscreen on the cops' motorcycles. There is a clear STRAIGHT line of reflected light in the center of it. Please keep in mind that at the angle we see it, the curve is MUCH more pronounced than the top of a man's head (i.e.: Agent Kellerman), so the straight line is shorter, but it is still clearly visible.

Third thing to consider. If Kellerman turns and shoots the Pres in the face... why didn't the driver flinch when the gun goes off next to his head? Why didn't the Governor flinch when the gun goes off within inches of his face? Why didn't either of the people in the middle seat flinch?

It's pretty imaginative and lazy, granted, but it's been put forth as a "theory".

Of course, there is no such thing that appears on the Zapruder film...simply a man turning around to take a quick glance behind him, and some sunlight reflecting off of his boss's head, who was sitting immediately to his right....

As frenat indicated, correctly, the Zapruder film was a COLOR film.

My bolding. What is especially silly about this is the frame I posted showing the driver at the time Kennedy's head explodes which shows the driver's left hand on the wheel. I guess if you imagination is vivid enough to think the driver had three arms or was doing some weird contortions with his right then sure, the driver could have had a gun. Otherwise, it is just silly.

I had always thunk that the Zapruder film was in black and white. I just thought it had been colorized for clarity. Come to think of it... I don't recall EVER seeing a black and white version.

The funny thing is, the driver most certainly did have a gun ( I suspect a Colt Detective Special .38 with hollow points...in 1963, ideal for concealed carry).

Having a gun is not a question. Using it against the President of the United States is.
And that is...insane.

Of course, you're right, in turning to look to the right, the hand that would remain in contact with the wheel would be one's left, which it does indeed appear is on the wheel. That of course would mean a cross draw with the right hand, and then, taking that .38 out, and doing some sort of contortion in order to fire this LOUD weapon in a split second at a target that wasn't actually visible to the driver at that moment, and hitting that target, as well as causing all that damage which would be very unlikely for such a gun...(I don't want to delve into the details)...

...and of course, having no one in the car even twitch at such a report which originated a few feet from them (a physical impossibility as well)...you'll note that no one, not Agent Kellerman, or Mrs. Kennedy, or Mrs. Conally so much as twictched when this alleged .357 (that's what a .38 actually is) went off (nor obviously, did any of the bystanders in the street nearby). And the impossible contortion which would've had to take place in order to do this thing....a Secret Service Agent, mind you, who had trained for years to protect his charge with his life!
