I read in a music magazine today the story of Bono, the U2 lead singer doing a gig in scotland.
On walking onto the stage he asked the whole audience to 'shush' be quite, after a couple of minutes the eager audience gave him his wish, standing there with baited breath they watched the singer go into a very slow overhead hand clap, each clap was filled with a three second gap, and after a minute of this Bono walked up to the microphone and stated, 'each clap represents a death of another child in Africa', at that a raised voice from the front of the standing audience shouted back, 'well stop clapping then'.

Hahahahaha, so much for being taken seriously after the ice is broken like that

classic, give that bloke who shouted that out a medal

yup ! start singing and stop killing those children you ...

Good one! After all we all pretty much know the sats on that, and as sad as that is you go to a concert to hear good music! So get on with it already!

damn I hate Bono. Do-gooder sod. Atleast Bob Geldoff was good at raising awareness, Bono tries too hard.
