have you ever noticed ghost seem to move so slowly at times? or go about they're daily chores as they did in life? I think they might just be that....ALIVE. ever heard someone say they saw a ghost during either extreme hot or cold temps? or changes in the enviorment?? ever hear someone say they saw or heard a ghost in an area with a highly "energized" area meaning there is a harder pull of the earth magnectic force in that area? almost electrifiing the sir?? evr had the hairs on the back of your head stand straight up? i bet if you took a picture at that very moment you would catch something on film everytime ! why do i think this? because i believe ghost are scenes and shadows of the past "rips in time" even. that are veiwed in these brief moments we experiance. i believe we are of the earth and therfore if something happens lets take the example of 911 the energy in that area is increased and soon rips will begin to form there and all of the sudden maybe many years from now things will become visible..but they are shades..shodows...much like a sound can get trapped in a home or house and then released when the house contracts in the cooler weather these images of the past get trapped in the enviorment. I dont know its just an idea? although i think one day what we think of know as ghost man will learn to contorl and view these "rips". i dont know. what do you think folks?

I love that you started this thread. original.gif
I sometimes wonder at this too. Reading about the Bara-Hack settlement in NorthEast Connecticut, brings up these thoughts the most. The experiences I read about this place, is that people sometimes hear the sounds of life in the past going on. Like hearing the sounds of children playing, and wagons going by, and mothers calling out to their kids. I read in various sites, that the name given to that area of land was an Native American name that means stuck in time, portal to another time, or something close to that.
I also remembering an article in a magazine sometime ago, about an area that shows paranormal images and sounds of a bus accident and the bus driver rescueing the kids from that accident, that happened to have the bus crash into a river or lake. I remember reading that the thoughts on the accident is that everyone involved survived, and what is playing over and over is the emotions as spectral ghosts. It just might be, that particular time is probably leaking through and being shown to the present. I think it's a fascinating thought.

Interesting thread, I am surprised it has not had more interest and posts though.
I believe that ghostly images etc are some form of "rip" in time where as you see somethign that happened many years ago. I have read accounts of people driving along and stopping at a store or house etc only to have it disappear before their eyes.
Interesting... wink2.gif

Its somewhat similar to the playback theory (that when we see some ghosts its a playback of a past event that has been recorded some how by the earth), and just as possible. It could be that we are witnessing a rip in the fabric of time and watching events that happened many years before.

Not that i know much about physics.

Could this theory also explain some types of precognition? Except in that instance the rip in the fabric of space and time takes us momentarily into the future allowing us a brief glimpse of what is to come?

If i remember correctly ive also read that the theory can explain some UFO sightings as well. Or maybe that was a rip in time and space between dimensions???? Similar thing.

very great theory. you can totally fit it in! great job thumbsup.gif

I think it's a very likely theory. I don't know much about physics, but I believe that some physicist think there is more than three dimensions. If that is true who knows where they are and what impact they might have on our space/timeline. The idea of other dimension would help to explain many paranormal phenomena and why it is hard to get conclusive evidence.

Great theory! Every so often, I also wonder about Rips in Time for what it really is. Imo, Nature doesn't worry in what you perceive or don't perceive. If you can't at the moment detect it, does it exist?
I like the way in what u said about taking every photograph--I believe that 39 years light years away, if there was a some kind of an observer he or she could see me being born or the way earth was.
The moon is a fascinating mystical object. It pulls on land and water away from the heart of the EARTH creating a long-period wave (the period of a wave is the length of time it takes the entire length of a wave to pass a fixed point) that follows the path of the moon. Ghosts caught in waves riding on a String.
If there was a rip in the Universe. It would be the end of everything. The way the Universe is accelerating- I would not doubt that there could be a rip in the Calibi-Yau manifolds at sometime in the Future, or maybe the universe is already Ripped ...who knows? The Universe is strange and it become more stranger when we move towards closer the theory of Everything.
Imagine, a Rip happens lets say happened yesterday..every observer within their environment will shrink, much like the Past, but more violent and then eventually down to a singularity(So, off topically, this is why that I cant see who or what can give Permission to ghosts/demons/Jesus to disturb the Universe). The Big Bang theory is the best out there.
If we can rip Time into the Future, and peek in(wormholes), what we will see/percieve, will be “Nothing” unless u r very very lucky and see your own eye…
Everyone has a Event Horizon n nothing will never reach u and u will never reach beyond the Horizon(the horizon that is in the front of you.)
Death might be the only RIP into whatever Uni-verse--For me, it's going to be a fair ride

I guess it's a possibility - it's as backed up by evidence as any other theory in this field. I'm not too sure if it's true or not... how would we go about trying to prove it?

On the wave theory. What if time dimensions were like radio frequencies, we are on a particular frequency , and others may exist on many different frequencies? Because of this, we are unaware of them, for instance, if you are tuned into one frequency on your radio, you are unaware of what is happening on the hundreds of other frequencies your set is capable of tuning into. Under certain conditions however, as with radios, other frequencies can be heard breaking into & interfering with the one you are listening to .

We do know that time can be distorted by gravity, for example time is different for satelites in orbit than on Earth and contnuous adjustments have to be made to keep them useful. If gravity can distort time, then it is conceivable that it could tear it. Perhaps this is the real meaning of the full moon in so many horror stories - the gravitational effect of the moon caused rips in time!!

The one you describe is probably a moment in time recorded in an area of high electromagnetism. I think the 'rip in time' theory holds merit in that ghostly activity tends to show up in areas where a higher than normal level of electromagnetism is present. I think that electromagnetic fields and ghostly activity should be a explored a little more than it currently is. Electromagnetic fields may indicate places where there's a thin spot in a membrane of dimensions, as well.

That's an interesting theory...
I don't think i believe it but it's still a good theory.
