It is really because it doesn't work with the controls in place isn't it Heart?

I will no longer be wasting my time working with you.

See you around other parts of the forum. Thanks for you time so far but I've now lost faith and interest in your "abilities".

"abilities" is right. He doesn't have any. Oh well, was looking forward to finally be proven wrong though. Quite disappointed really

I'm just surprised you all let the little fella string you on for so long.

I mean, in a way, he still won.

No, he didn't. I've ragged on the k-skeptics pretty hard now and then for their ragging on psi-kiddies.

In H's case, they bent over backwards, gave him straight feedback, experimental design advice, statistical advice - all anybody would need to make his case. Well, that and the ability to do it.

Time came for him to put up or shut up, and he did neither.

You guys are being way too dramatic.

It's a discussion forum. There was no bending over backwards.

And trying to egg him on with things like "oh well, I guess he just doesn't have any abilities after all" is childish.

He's a kid, he made a mistake and probably embellished a little. Get over it.

Then it is time he grew up. Being able to admit mistakes is part of growing up. Ask my wife, I have to admit mistakes to her everyday! w00t.gif

Watch out. Your age is showing.

Look. Give us a real answer. The reason you won't do the sealed contatiner test is because you can't. Am I right? Come one. Be real this once.

He can't but he won't admit it, it seems. Constant excuse "I have a life". So do I, job/family/friends/gf but I can take some time out of my life, no problem? May I remind you that a job has longer hours than school. And the "I'm not a guinea pig thing", you agreed to do the test though. I'm assuming you agreed to it until you realised you won't be able to make a succesful one.

Next excuse please

That's fine. However, I would suggest that in the future you refrain from making extraordinary claims. You have come on a discussion forum as you so like saying. I am here to discuss subjects in a logical and realistic manner. If we were to believe every person that came on here saying they could do something then the discussions would quickly become meaningless. I could say I'm a fifty thousand year old alien from Jupiter, but without proof it is pointless to say it.

If you do want to show everyone here that you are a psychic and give us the ability to discuss your powers in a logical and scientific manner then by all means go ahead, but bring the proof first. Otherwise you can keep your abilities to yourself and not waste everyone else time (which as you pointed out is so valuable) by starting discussion topics on trivial matters. Without some measure of proof a claim is nothing more than that, trivial.

Now as an aside to that statement, I will also say that I am being over-dramatic a little bit. There are times when you can discuss something without proof. When proof is impossible to offer then discussion can still take place. However, in the case where proof can be offered such as when the person supposedly has controllable abilities, it should be offered for the community at large.

Barring that from happening I say that this case is closed and would go as far as to call it an unsubstantiated claim.
