I finally got a better avatar for this site but it won't show the picture. I've checked the FAQ but it doesn't say anything about an image not showing only how to put an image on there. I got the picture from photobucket and I edited it to be avatar size but it still won't work. Any advice?

Can you post the avatar you're trying to put up? I don't have any clue why it wouldn't come up but it might be helpful to see it.

Mabey wrong file type.

If it's from photobucket you have to use "Direct Link" for this site

go to my controls- then Edit Avatar Settings- in the "Enter a URL to an online avatar image" box put in your "direct link" code from photobucket

I just tried it and it worked for me. Instead of linking it from another site, you should just upload the image to UM in the avatar settings. That's what I did.

Sorry I'm not really sure what you mean I'm kind of stupid when it comes to computer stuff.

Maybe they screen the avatars now

Under the"Enter a URL to an online avatar image"box there is a box marked "Upload a new image from your computer" just hit "browse" and it will go to your computer where you can select your picture

Use the bottom option. Just click browse, click your avatar file and then click 'update avatar'.

It's on there now. Sorry for all the trouble. All I had to do was save it on my computer and then upload it from the pics on my computer. I don't know how to ask for this topic to be closed but can someone please do that because I don't see the need for any more replies since the avatars there now. Thanks for the help everybody!
