Exact science??? Ghost hunting is investigating, gathering evidence, of a phenomenon. Until there is answers on what exactley causes these paranormal activities then I would call it science, because there would be logical explainations.

ok thanks. I was just wondering someone told me it was and I thought how could this be when every aspect of investigation is based on theory.

Exaclty. There isn't, nor has there ever been any solid concrete evidence on the existance of ghosts, or even what ghosts definately are. I work for a PI team, and everything we do is based on theory, with no facts involved at all.

Ghost Hunting will never be an exact science. However, it has various principles to a class of science. Experiments one conducts to test out a theory, even go as far as a scientific method phase. Not to mention the various psychological aspects.. If your team is based more on the technical side of things, principles of science. Especially computer oriented equipment. However, the overall "Topic" will never be an exact science, just principles.

I would only disagree with the first statement:

Hopefully, someday it will be an exact science, or at least close to it. With the expansion of PI teams like "Ghost Hunters" (TAPS) using more scientific methods, perhaps someday ghosts will be better understood (or at least the phenomena we refer to as ghosts).

I agree and thankyou

a question to all the PI investigators, how common is it that one of your fellow crewmates gets possessed when you explore graveyards? or do other out-of-the-blue things start happening? like loss of vision, sudden chill throughout the body, etc.
