Depends on whether its a mp3 player, or just a simple flash drive. If its a mp3 player like samsung yepp, then i would advise against storing anything other than music on it. Most mp3 players convert the music file into a compressed .sm file, i wouldn't recommend using it as storage for the simple reason that it converts into a file that is typically used for music. It may convert the file to .sm but i don't think it would convert back to the original.

interesting i guess it depends on the software which comes with the mp3 storage.
I wonder if the ipod is good for other storage?

Nothing will happen. You can just use it for any file type.

I would suggest checking the type of mp3 player you have for troubleshooting in the manual . Chances are , this is a bad idea . Some mp3 players do however allow certain files other then mp3 ( mainly the ones that have game programs on them )

i just put some exe and some picture file it didn't do anything my mp3 just ignores it.
I strongly recommend don't try it on your mp3 i shall not held responsible if you tried it and it gets damaged.

I dunno if you already thougth of this, change the file extension from your .exe to .mp3 then using this MP3 player as a file carrier should work, right?

yea it works putting other file on it even if i dont put .mp3 on it all i have to do is connect it onto the computer to see that file. I just cant see it on the mp3 it only read the music file.
