It looks like it's been placed there afterwards.

Removed the last couple of replies, lets keep the responses sensible and ellaborate where possible please.
On the subject of the picture, what has lead you to believe this is something paranormal as oppose to something on the window, something on the lens, a reflection or something else of a similar nature ? What do you think it is ?
It looks like its close to the camera as oppose to something in the sky in the distance.

Looks like pictures of earthlights in motion. Go to www.earthlights.org and look at the pictures there. They are modestly similiar.

If you are on about the bluish light thing, it looks exactly like a television seen through the nets in someones living room.
IMHO.

That's all the information you're going to give? What was it doing? Moing standing still? Was it long like in the picture or was it moving causing it to look longer because of shutter speed? How long was it there?

That looks like a scratch or something on your lens. and I think someone mentioned a fast moveing something. Are you talking about rods? The pictures i've seen of what are suposed to be rods don't look like what is in this picture.

It almost looks like some sort of rod, but I'm not sure if they've been disproven.

Ah, well then it's not the alien I was thinking of.
Perhaps it was a shooting star if it was a dot moving pretty fast. *shrugs* But you never know.

That's what I was thinking. However everything I've read on them is that the people took the photos then discovered the rods, this guy claims it was the other way round.

It does look like a single dot in the sky moving quickly. Next time you snap a photo at night make sure you hold the camera very still so you dont get the blurr. Too hard to tell what exactly it is. Here is a photo I enhanced.

Looks a bit like a contrail (vapour trail) from an aircraft to me...

I thought that too but you usually get a green & red light on the right & left wing tip respectively.
He says it was a dot, which to me sounds like it could have been satellite as it wasn't flashing I assume. This would leave a short light trail on the photo, especially as the camera shutter speed would be quite slow due to the low light conditions.
