Does anyone here watch the most haunted live show? If so, what do you think of it?

Never heard of it; what channel is it on?

In the uk we get it on living tv.

But they also run live webcams on location whilst their show is airing on the internet at www.mosthauntedlive.net

Its not the best paranormal investigations show ive seen, but i watch it anyway. Their biggest flaw is that they spend more time focusing their cameras on the crew members than they do on their surroundings, so if or when things appear to move of their own accord (like last night for example) its always out of shot. A crew member will shout 'oi did you see that moving, that box just moved' to which you respond by thinking 'no, i didnt see a thing because you had the camera on your face again'. They then swing the camera around to show a box or whatever lying on the floor whilst claiming that it was previously on a shelf and threw itself off moments before. But still, i watch just incase they do manage to eventually catch something on camera.

I live in hope.

Ive never seen anything on their webcams either and the one time i did see something that resembled an orb it was actually a moth. Of course that didnt stop people who were viewing the cams from contacting the team to say there was a orb on that webcam (you can contact the team if you see anything). I have only one thing to say to those people:

*Ahem*

It was a Moth, ok, if you looked closely you could even see its wings fluttering.

Again though, i watch the cams out of hope anyway.

You never know, oneday they might catch something interesting.

I can’t stand this Show; I think its sooo fake and made up. I have a hard time believing that every single time they go out to a location they find something. Not just something, but MAJOR Activity.

I think they do a lot of things behind the scenes to make it look "haunted"

I do think they tend to 'ham it up' for ratings.

I'd rather watch paint dry to be honest .( Said in the nicest possible way)

I agree that most it is staged . for ratings sake .and it becomes tedious after a while

I watch it, but some things are clearly faked!

I have seen it and like how they are actually doing surveillance. That makes it worthwhile. Maybe they will capture a ghost on camera.

Unfortunately, it's not that they ham it up so much as down right cheat. They've been caught out sooo many times, even David Wells was caught stroking someones hand during a seance.

As for Karl and Stuart - pfft, honestly, you know that one of three things is going to happen 1) something will be thrown 2) one of them will faint or go funny or dizzy 3) one of them will be possessed and start staring aggressively.

It's a waste of time, but that's just my opinion, I want to like it... but it's rubbish.

I 1000000% agree with you. They are such Frauds. I’m actually embarrassed for them when they act like they are possessed. Such bad Acting.

The lady that looks like a little troll,... sometimes I just want to put a muzzle on her and all her fake screaming.

I think it's awful.

I try watching it once in a while and am always disappointed in it.

They never seem to capture anything on film - it's always 'look over there I saw something!' - then the camera aims there and you see nothing.

The people seem more interested in themselves and what they do rather than really trying to find evidence of anything.

It amazes me how they make hour long episodes of these types of shows sometimes based on nothing other than watching the reactions of people who walk through a haunted house and get freaked out by their neerves as much as anything they may actually see.

Take yourself and your friends through the place and record your actions and you'll likely get the same types of footage this show provides.

Did I mention the show disappoints me?

It's a shame that they fake so much. I too would like the show if they just told the truth, but I can't watch it knowing how much they lie. There are videos on youtube of behind the scenes footage of the show where they are caught faking noises and making up various other events.

Then there was the whole Derek Acorah thing (a former medium on the show). In case you don't know the show thought he was a fraud, so they tested him. One of the shows producers made sure that Derek overheard a bit of history about a person who once lived and died in a house they were investigating. The information he was allowed to hear was fake, and mediums are never allowed to know the houses history because they could make things up if they knew. Sure enough Derek went into a full blown possession on the show pretending to be the fake person that the producers made up. Shortly after that he was fired.

They really do try to find paranormal activity though, but when they don't find any they try to spice things up a bit. I watch it sometimes when I am bored, but I always keep in mind that it isn't real. Any time they say someone touches them, blows in their ear, plays with there hair etc etc. All of that stuff is made up. I just watch the video to see if they catch any apparitions, and ignore all the mediums talk and the fake "someone just smacked me bum" talk..heh

Shhhhhhhhh! I like to see the locations and the places that they, ahem, investigate. So hush, or they'll stop letting me see the castles and magnificent houses.

I have watched the show before, and I cannot stand it.All I ever see on that show is the crew running around screaming like a bunch of fools.I never did see anything which might be paranormal.

Search "is most haunted fake?" into google and go to the top link, they admitted to being fake!

They are all fake .... its a TV show, its made for entertainment and has no place in paranormal investigating, they have been caught out cheating so many times, they have been recorded admitting to faking the events on the show and most people with an interest in this subject hate what they have done to spiritual investigation. Reading the posts on here most people know its BS but still they get these shows commissioned and their audience grows. I won't watch any of it, it has nothing to do with serious investigation its all about providing a lucrative income for the Fieldings and their hangers on

That's a good point Jennie. the best part of Most Haunted is when they're showing you around the location and telling the history of a place.. the rest is just awful and I'm loathed to give it my single rating that's how much I dislike it!
